Is only walking distance .No need tuk tuk. As u walk along that road there lot's of thing to buy & see. How long? May be a 1- 2km walk. Not sure. I walked from Baiyoke Boutique which is behind Baiyoke sky.

Baiyoke sky & suite r both different category & price. Baiyoke sky is the tallest hotel there.

Definately u can get out but what airline r u taking n where u r coming from. IF yr transit is from International route may be u r not allow but if it is just let say from domestic destination to BKK I guess u can cos u need got out to check in under international flight (for yr flight from BKK out to ????) n go thru immigration.

But if u go out, do wanna carry your luggage with you?

I presume u can cos being M'sian u dun need VISA. U must see what time the train starts it's service since u arrive early . Don't bother to take taxi especially is weekdays. Make sure the places u go can take the train back to airport. I suggest u just roam around Pratunam. And since u dun need to check in again make sure that U get to the airport 2hrs before yr next flight. If want to get out from airport u must get yr passport entry stamp and exit stamp. Anyway, please double confirm with your airline whether u can or can't go out from Airport.

I'll land in Bangkok on 5:25pm 13th Nov, check the http://www.bangkokairporttrain.com/time-table-route.html

stated train service is available between 4:15pm to 7:22pm

can anyone please confirm if 6 of us could get the ride to city area?
Will be staying at Ecotel Bangkok, more advisable to take cab or the train to the hotel?

as from what i read, only cost promo price BT15 one way using the train?

Hello from BKK. M still here. Stayed in PR Place. Very convenient from Apt. Just hop in Apt Rail link (city line) for only 15THB to Rachaprarop station, get down walk to hotel less than 100m...ez huh. As for hotel, absolutely clean. I got Junior suite @ 900THB...comes with Pantry with coffee n tea making facilities, 2 mama cup noodles, 2 drink water. Bathroom is sparkling clean.comes with real mini gym, money operated washing maching n dryer (DIY).
As u get out from the main entrance -(dun have large/posh lobby) ezly get taxi. Walk to left got very good beef noodle, walk to right can go pratunam, indira square, massage, food n will also lead to Platinum.Opposite hotel there's a CIMB bank. Can withdraw cash but must call the bank to activate each time you wanna use yr ATM card oversea. If withdraw from CIMB is FOC but from other machine it is chargeable at RM10 for each withdrawal. Got a good rate oso. Currently THB is high. Therefore dun change in BKK but in Msia otherwise Kasikorn Bank has the best rate beside CIMB withdrawal. and Bangkok Exchange at Pratunam.

That's all for now.Kop khun Ka!
