Is Asia hotel in bkk convenience for shopping area?
From my research in internet, seems like the BTS station just infront of the hotel.
Is this hotel nearby platinum mall and other shopping malls?
The BTS can connect straight from airport to hotel?
Means i no need to get taxi for hotel transfer..

the easiest way is to get a taxi from airport to hotel. Cost abt 600baht

erm besides food court leh? no roadside nice food hahaha =P

anyone knows if take cab from airport to around platinum area need how much? or take train will be betteR?

U got to check whether the train service is fully in operation cos they are on trial run & only available on certain days and hour. Otherwise , public taxi with metre cost no more than 400THB. As u exit the immigration n take your bag n go out, look out for the sign to public taxi. I think got to go one floor down if I am not mistaken.

Well , it's all the complete information about thailand.

The latest and cheapest transport now from suvarnabhumi to Bangkok town should be the new airport subway.

I will take my flight next week , and try to post it after my trip!

Added on August 24, 2010, 12:27 pmif you go with the light baggage , now you can take the airport subway, low cost and convenient, just goto the Pethburi station, buy the ticket and wait for 30 min to reach airport.

Hi guys. Has anyone stayed at this hotel called Centara Grand at Central World before? Kindly provide feedback as i was thinking of booking there. I know Central World is closed now after the fire but according to the staff there and the many reviews i have read, this hotel was not affected. Comments pls. Thank you Thank you.
