Typo error..THB900 not THB90 haha.
On those whosales area. at Pratunam or even chinatown, yeah agreed that it's cheap..but hor normally tourist go there for 1 pc or diff design...but those wholeseller as Andriennes said..take it of leave it...Boyz I really kena from them...I wanna only 1 shoe & it's so cheap only RM20/pair..damn...That seller ask me to take 6 otherwise..nou tak kheng..celaka...
That's why..I hate shopping in bangkok..KL better!!
H4E, me missed jatjujak..I went there during weekday...Most shop closed & seeing the zinc roof market from far...I dun feel like walk in at all...sauna!! U mean I can get RM5 T-shirt there? ohhhhh
Yeah..sometimes they could be a pain the arse for you when they refused to sell you in ONE piece/pair and often if you buying 2 pieces from the shop is equivalent to buying 3 pieces at the shop because the price is ridiculous (well, tht's their aim la..to make us buy more).

Shops start to open after 10a.m and start to close around 8p.m
The average prices that i bought was T-shirts/short pants/skirts 100 - 150 THB, Blouses and dresses 150THB - 200THB
Baiyoke suite is quite cheap and if you have those berjaya times share thingy, you could book through them. Baiyoke Sky is approx. RM150 through BTS thingy. Ori is about RM280. However i think Citin would be better or Baiyoke Boutique at the back of Baiyoke Sky. Both Citin and Boutique equally cheap (less than RM200 range. About RM150+/- walk in for non-peak) and both offers decent and clean rooms.
For Baiyoke, you could go up till MBK with their free shuttle service while Citin offers you 'elongated tuk tuk' (just like normal tuk tuk but longer to fit in more ppl) to shopping malls around Gaysorn area.
Prices are definitely cheaper and quality would be around the same as per my experience. Like Moody said, it's about tht price range. But if you aim for better quality (thicker and longer lasting) price range for tops would be 180baht till 300baht. Whereas for better material dresses often it could start from 300baht till about 600baht. Be picky when it comes to buying clothes there and MUST check thoroughly even though it's in the plastic wrapping because often you might have defected items (of course not like big big holes or what..but lining and cutting might be different for two of the same piece).
Opening hours for Platinum Mall is as stated by Moody. But if you're going for Pratunam Center/Baiyoke area, be sure to be up as early as 4AM local time till about 8AM local time for the makeshift stalls (like our morning market) because most of them do sell the same clothing as per Platinum Mall but of course relatively cheaper(could make up a sum for blogsellers/online sellers if you add it all up) than PM by 50baht or so. Also for those stall/shops in the alley heading towards PM from Baiyoke area, they open quite early in the morning (about 9AM local).

The full name of the mall is Platinum Fashion Mall but then my Thai friends keep on insisting it is Pratunam Mall >.< which made me confused
anyway, the Platinum Fashion Mall is just opposite of the Amari watergate
Yes ah? Haha..i sit those cabs/tuk tuk they know where is platinum so i always use platinum. But you tell them baiyoke area, everyone sure know!

if u want to stay at pratunam area, Baiyoke Suit is the nearest n within your range of RM100-200. Citin Pratunam hotel also within the range, but just that if u r not very familiar with that area, there will be problem when u try to tell the taxi driver.
Normally if cab driver really can't comprehend with what you're telling them for the location, best to tell them nearest spot 'Baiyoke Hotel' or 'Pratunam Mall'. I think Indra Square also they would know.

weekday go platinum mall. very big place man.
near by same row, got pratunam IT mall. Lots of IT stuffs there
If you want buy cheap shoes, they got their own brand, Roberto, which I bought at a shoe shop inside Big C in Future Park Rangsit, and cost about RM30 for a pair of black working shoes. Top floor of Future Park also got cheap clothings and apparels too. Opposite it got Zeer IT mall also.
It should be about 30mins drive from bangkok to Rangsit. Got public vans to ambik.
Is the Roberto shoes nice and comfy?
I didn't know they open a new IT mall d. Everytime go there my eyes only have clothes in front of me. Haha. No time to look at others. Next time must go visit d.
