What: Thinking Out Of The Box talk, TT, street shooting to Dang Wangi until behind Asian Heritage Row

Where: Galeri Petronas KLCC, center foodcourt KLCC, Jalan Ampang stretch to Dang Wangi

11:00am: Meet at Galeri Petronas KLCC for Choen Lee's excellent "Thinking Out Of The Box" talk.

12:30pm: Go for lunch at center foodcourt in KLCC.

1:30pm: Start walking out from KLCC to British Council/Zouk/Hard Rock Cafe/KL Tower/Dang Wangi LRT/secret area behind Asian Heritage Row.


It was still there 2 weeks ago, amazingly!

dreadlessdream: Yes they always say that. It's true anyway. Just take more drop shots; the angle is good already. A darker aperture to get everything in focus would be better.

hkhk: Hmmm never had a problem with the Sony battery grips feeling short (even on the VG-B30AM!) Still feels way ahead of the brick grips.

lwliam: Google "digital GND" and brighten the left side. Water shot is interesting though too dirty-colored.

eddybeh: Yes confirmed, I have used my 25% voucher for a lens.

shootkk: The Minolta/Sony 50mm F1.4 and Minolta 50mm F1.7 MFD = 45cm; Sony 50mm F1.8 DT SAM MFD = 34cm.

i introed u travel angel series, well because it's really a angel that travels.... so easy to carry. KK has so many lovely place that require travel by foot.. or boat... island (water resistant is good ), even up inthe mount where humid is 80%+ or hot springs ^^; travel made easy by travel angel series. (btw yamiya removed the tranformer travel angel from their sales , google it and prepare to get poison more, LOL)

if budget is constrain (but i hear u willing to jump cf if avail @.@) the normal 350 or 550ex or even 650ex from benro are decent, a little huge when folded, thats all, same durability as others.

most important is the head, can it hold the camera firmly, even after 1 or 2 years..

if me, i prepare to spend rm500 for a really good decent ballhead like the B-3 benro....

wahh why i sound like a benro sales man? LOL (actually lately i been research tripod ^^ wanna get a really good decent 1 time purchase that last me for at least 2 generation still using an older generation vivitar tripod )

there are 2 option, but both are not avail by benro malaysia.

the transformer travel angel A-268m8 Mg-Allu, + B-1 head (add on plate) around rm700-800++ estimated (have not found any quotation).

or the transformer trevel angle C268m8 CF, +B-1 head (add on plate around rm80) ~around 1.6k-1.7k (partly confirmed pricing)

both max load of 12kg, which is really good~



best thing of all, it's still very small and compact to even keep inside with ur camera backpack.(eg: flipside 400type backpack)

I know this is very late, but I just bought F58AM from eBay last night ! Hope to learn alot from you guys about flash photography later on huahaha, so excited !

guys, i have a question, dunno if this discussed b4, let say we compare 90mm at APC with 135mm at FF with same distance n same F (let say 2.8), will it produce same DOF at the pic?
