After I shut off the engine and open the Driver's door, the door warning chime will sound continuously until I shut the door. It is normal? Kind of irritating as I need to handle my kid.
*
that normally happens if the key is left in the ignition, to remind you not to lock your keys inside the car.......take out the key, and the chime will stop........

however, not sure what's the situation with the push start ignition.........

i have BHP95 as my first tank, then i tried Shell95 and now Esso95. But i can't find back the same "power" feeling of my 1st tank. Anyone else want to share their figure/"feeling" ?
*
My first 3 tanks were Shell 95 and then Esso 95 and i can feel that Esso is more powerful than Shell ... going to try BHP next ... really cant wait to go to BHP petrol station after reading so many good feedbacks drool.gif

4te, r you from Penang? I'm still waiting for my car and I'm worried about the tinting part....coz I know they will need to take out the door panels to tint the side windows, and with all those "keyless" entry gadgets and wires I'm scared they might cause damage. Who do you recommend for tint job in Penang? "Delicate" one  tongue.gif
Wow, I was driving a borrowed P2 car up a hill today I was complaining about how hard it is to choose the suitable gear for 4-speed automatic cars...and when I reached home I read your quote!  notworthy.gif

Yup bro, i am Penang Forte Kaki biggrin.gif ... actually they didnt take out the door panel but just the top rubber part, the tweeter, the rear mirror and the third break light panel when installing. If you are interested in Security + Heat Rejection tint and dont mind doing it Butterworth, then i would recommend you Wingard Royale (highest range), JPJ compliance, GPS & Smart Tag friendly, and not to mention that they offer 10 years warranty, which only cost slightly more than some other brands with 5 years warranty (will PM you the special price for Forte members here). The workmanship is good, no bubble or rattling sound ... bro bbear did his 407 tint there too biggrin.gif

What i like the tint most is the head rejection of Wingard Royale (side and back) and also the colour (slightly dark and non-metallic). We can meet and I can show you the tint and other poisons if you want to smile.gif

My review on Wingard Royale http://www.kiafortemalaysia.com/showthread.php?t=129

More details on Wingard Royale http://www.tintgallery.com/html/wingard.asp

Yup will PM you the price, but only applicable in Penang ya ... no worries, everyone is a member here, as long as you drive a Forte to tint and tell my friend "Lowyat, Facebook Forum member" can already icon_rolleyes.gif

BTW, what do you mean naza voucher? I the naza voucher is for other brand lo ... my SA did offer me security and heat rejection tint voucher i think its for other brand and not Wingard cos my friend doesn't deal with NAZA SA.

I tried to negotiate "discount" with my SA,
Since they says BIG no no discount on Forte,

Then, i tried to bs... "others dealer can offer bodykit as discount packages",
finally they offer free tint with TintMaster

Any Comment for the Quality of "TintMaster" ?
or... should i go for cash and take another brand (what brand n price please)?

Thanks

Bro, i think the best is to take cash if possible ... my friend who runs a tint shop told me that a lot of SA gives free V-Kool tint and claims that its top range, but in actual fact the lowest range or a different brand all together ... its best to do your tint at an authorized shop and dont let the SA do it for you.

Oh i think the voucher is not for Wingard tint ... you may check with your SA, if its a branded tint (branded tint = those brand that you can find the authorized dealers in the official website) and the price is within your budget, you can consider it also smile.gif

Don't depend on the computer's FC display. It's usually off by 1-2L/100km
Calculate it manually:
1. Pump full tank
2. Reset your trip meter
3. Use up your tank (leave some behind just in case your car runs dry on the road)
4. Pump full tank again to see how many litres you have used.
5. Check your trip meter for total distance
6. fuel/distance * 100 = FC

ic.. no wonder y i felt my forte can do better in climbing the hill compare to my previous city..
2.5~2.7k rpm can go up to 70km/h compare to 3k rpm previously. one thg bad is can feel the change of gear.. hahaha.. ofcos can not complain cos forte worth so much compare to a city or dugong thumbup.gif

[/quote]

The ESC is always OFF..when u start the car..suppose to be On.
These are some of the defects which occurs in the Forte, not all but some
