K&N 33-2380 Air Filter Bulk Order.
Approximate price is either RM240 - RM250 depends on which seller.

1) Phelix
2) Jimmy.Soo
3) andreslck
4) yhlee12
5) kennyphan
6) jojolcy7

guys, wanna proceed with K&N or try out the brand recommended by bro KFC? a bit tempted by the fact that it's stainless steel, no need oiling compared to K&N...

the car allocation really depends on the SA ones... my SA did help me to 'book' a car in the inventory system back then... dunno through his admin or through ppl in HQ.. and at least he updated me how many units left in the system... from 70+ to 20+ a day later.

saw a few forte's when i was back in ipoh... 1 tits along NSHW, 1 white stopping at a traffic light coming from cameron direction, the other one silver, in front of the traffic light along jln tambun... so happen me also 1st car at the opposite direction so we were seeing each other face-to-face tat time.. hahha

QUOTE(kiaforteclub @ Feb 14 2010, 11:37 PM)
Forte owners dying to know how the car performs in 0-100kmh here's the data i collected this morning.
Auto mode its as stated in specs at least 12s but in manual mode it drops 1s (11s)
with some light mods we can drop it another 1s (10s), considered ok for a car weighing almost 1400kg!
*
was the shiftronic used in getting this?

those wanting to do sierra glow, pls ask the staffs not to remove them if u want them to be there... i got mine removed during my session but didn't notice until i got back... sweat.gif

QUOTE(n4tea @ Feb 18 2010, 03:00 PM)
how much it cost? just now i try to call but cant get him..
*
weekdays 650, weekends 750, got 10% discount for those who make bookings early..

to avoid some of us repeating the same discussions on several matters again and again, maybe new owners can search through some topics in older threads or the 1st page or the few pages in front... cheers notworthy.gif

i thought one of the sierraglow benefits is to protect the paint from stonechip?

if don't remove than that part will not be 'glowed'.. it'll be weird..
*
hmmm.... not sure about that... i don't think it can protect much, although it's claimed to be as hard as steel but to replace the film with a chemical... i'm a bit in doubt la tongue.gif

tat's why everything was removed when they did the glow.

in fact the film's kinda small... does it really help in protecting those areas from stonechips?

yeah... i dun like the front plate given by branch (rawang stockyard)... cause it's in 2 rows setting, the car seems to have 'janggut' at the front bumper... sighs

KFC... ur planning on car plate holder or just some tagline on the car plate itself?

QUOTE(ggeatweb @ Feb 22 2010, 08:29 PM)
Hi folks, I've got some info on the gear ratios of the Koup...I think it should be similar to Forte's? The 4th gear is around 0.7x while the City is 0.5x (5th gear)....that may explain why it's more quiet on highway. But I think we drive around 110km/h should be fine...
*
from specs sheet... sg forte. left is 1.6, right is 2.0

after checking details of the diecast model, just noticed it should be following the china version

got cheaper options here... tongue.gif
http://search.taobao.com/search?q=%C6%F0%D...g=allcat-2-c-25

including shipping should be less than 200, but then again... i guess only really hardcore forte fans and collectors will buy this hehehe

Izputra, i have talk to boomberman, hafiz n idris on the phone. What we discussed is wait till March. So far i believe Forte is still best option. But for me, if i never collect my car b4 31 of March , i will sell all my forte accessories to members and change my direction to other brand. That is my 100% confirmed decision. Cause i think forte is not like toyota or honda (above 100k) that require waiting period more than 4 months not worth it. As i mentioned eary b4, if dont have car , dont start promote and let customer buta buta wait for nothing. Laosy way of doing business. If that is my company , then i will lose all my customers. USE HAMMER KNOCK OUR OWN HEAD ? FEEL STUPID RIGHT.
*
perry, can imagine ur frustration dealing with NK... all this while u all 2.0 buyers have been patiently waiting for the car but NK doesn't seem to appreciate one bit... it's a grand launch of both variants, 1.6 AND 2.0 back in Nov 09... now end of Feb 10 also coming dy... not even 1 single 2.0 OTR... N*Z* really screwed up the whole thing man....

wow with 9.7l/100km still can DTE 120km with 1 bar? jus try it and let me know..
*
mine now left less than 1/3 in the final bar... DTE still showing around 68km... the car will still got fuel after needle dropping to below zero... is the zero line the point where DTE is 50km (before the --- appears)?

QUOTE(msk @ Feb 25 2010, 12:35 AM)
2. Fuel consumption quite good with Instant FC reading quite fun to train. agree... but have to pay attention to road condition cannot keep looking at ODO tongue.gif

Minus (may be my car - Please comment)
3. More body roll than I like. Sometimes will have roller coaster effect after going over bump and turning.. Wonder if others experience this. This shouldn't be due to alignment or balancing right? agree to this too... now when going through bumps or holes i will try as much as i can to go over with 2 front wheels together (right angle with the bump)

FC update (50% highway 50% city)

managed 500KM with 39L = 12.8KM/L

pumped BHP and feels that the engine is louder compared to esso/mobil.

who pump esso and BHP before? do you feel the same?
*
my previous tank was BHP, current one Esso.
engine sounds the same to me... esso loud also...

i thought only ron97 can see the difference..
