Just wondering, the long-waiting is only for 2.0 models only rite? Will go for a testdrive tomorrow(Friday). Might as well choose 1.6 SX.

those wanting to do sierra glow, pls ask the staffs not to remove them if u want them to be there... i got mine removed during my session but didn't notice until i got back...  sweat.gif
weekdays 650, weekends 750, got 10% discount for those who make bookings early..
i thought one of the sierraglow benefits is to protect the paint from stonechip?

if don't remove than that part will not be 'glowed'.. it'll be weird..

You guys are asking too much... sweat.gif Not many other same segment rivals have this function as well.

The only thing I would like for the Forte is auto-up windows which should have been standard nowadays.
Maybe also an additional 2cm length in the rear bench for more thigh support, but I'm mostly in the driver's seat so it doesn't bother me.
*
Bro, City and Latio have the electronic foldable side mirrors ... actually this is the first question i asked the SA end of October 2009 before the launch and went through the training booklet from SA and couldn't find it ... was really hope that the Malaysia version will come one this feature cos i always close the mirrors manually and this feature will definitely come in handy. I dont mind paying a bit more for this feature with the original button (on top of the side mirror adjustment button) ... too bad i think only available in Korea ... even the US version doesn't come with this.

To me the features will be complete/perfect if it comes with electronic foldable side mirrors and the auto-up windows nod.gif

Didn't really notice about the emblem. So far I saw 2 Forte in Dell exclude mine, one park inside, one park at the visitor parking. Anyway which one is yours?

Mine is spicy red. But I normally only ride motorbike or my wife's kancil to work. But today, I got chance to drive my baby forte to work. rclxm9.gif

uwaaa... sob sob sob... how about me?
izputra... don't worry, confirmed march but not sure which march... early, mid or end...
better wait until 31/3...
otherwise we convert to 1.6sx together... hehehehe...
*
If confirmed can get our car (2.0) on march, i'm willing to wait for it. But until now..no sign of it. & that's what i feared the most..uncertain waiting period! I got no car for more than 2 & a half month now..almost cannot tahan already to wait anymore longer sad.gif

Instead of downgrading to 1.6, i rather opt for Sylphy/Lancer/Civic tongue.gif

if new comer choose 1.6 and since there's a lot of 1.6 ready stock, they'll get it faster than 2.0 buyer ?
so what happen to the queue system, not valid anymore ? cry.gif

hmmm.... not sure about that... i don't think it can protect much, although it's claimed to be as hard as steel but to replace the film with a chemical... i'm a bit in doubt la tongue.gif

tat's why everything was removed when they did the glow.

in fact the film's kinda small... does it really help in protecting those areas from stonechips?

Hi! Bro bbear,
Just back to KL yesterday!
Are you mean AM in the Melaka?
Because I driving White Forte with 'KIA' emblem and same plate no as you write and driving at Melaka on 17-18/2 and 15-16 at Seremban to Pahang.
-------------------------------------------

Just for sharing to all, rclxms.gif
I driving from Triang, Pahang -> Tengkera, Melaka -> 2 days Town visit, Melaka -> Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Total distance Trip A: 400KM, DTE: 220km, Average: 7l/100km.
I found that the Average become very good during consistence driving around 70-80km/h at normal road from Pahang to Melaka, around 6.4l/100km.

In my opinion, I found BHP fuel is best for Forte in term of power & fuel consumption after tried Caltex, Esso, Shell. thumbup.gif

In last, wishing all new Forte owner 'Happy Driving' and enjoy your 'Forte Roadshow' to other!!! flex.gif
