Because I driving White Forte with 'KIA' emblem and same plate no as you write and driving at Melaka on 17-18/2 and 15-16 at Seremban to Pahang.

Just for sharing to all,
I driving from Triang, Pahang -> Tengkera, Melaka -> 2 days Town visit, Melaka -> Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Total distance Trip A: 400KM, DTE: 220km, Average: 7l/100km.
I found that the Average become very good during consistence driving around 70-80km/h at normal road from Pahang to Melaka, around 6.4l/100km.

In my opinion, I found BHP fuel is best for Forte in term of power & fuel consumption after tried Caltex, Esso, Shell.

Sorry to update that I only use RON97 fuel, I can't find Petronas sell this type of Petrol.
Previously, I prefer Petronas for my driving before launch the RON95.


For me, Caltex is 2nd choice. Is good for more mileage but I prefer more power than fuel consumption.
In my opinion, Caltex techron and BHP infiniti quite same but BHP formulated with more 800ppm additives.

I had experienced it before after changing fuel brand. It must take another 1 to 2 tank with your previous style to recall the ECU memory for your driving style and power!

I always call back the 'power' feel once pump the BHP97! Hope you can try to continue pump another tank for BHP!

I had installed LLumar T4 spec almost 3 weeks and along the hot sun and long journey during CNY. I can say this Good Brand with this kind of spec and the price really worth to get it.

There are many tint shops in Klang Valley,

Aircool, Vkool, Tintmaster, Huper Optic, Solar Safe, Rikecool, Wingard, Carekool, LLumar, Ecotint, Raytech......

In my opinion, besides Vkool tint standard, LLumar & Raytech is standing together which manufacturer brand instead of OEM brand.

Anyhow, there are many Forte owner go for Aircool which offer special price to myForteClub!!!

Just back to PJ home after traveling back to hometown, Sepang this morning.
Total mileage calculated after morning full tank pump (BHP ron95)= 160km
Average show at PJ home 7.2l/100km with average speed 90km (50% national road) & 110km (50% KLIA highway)
Fuel consumption is good = Meter show fuel use 1.5 bar of 8 bars

Just would like to share the experience using Forte ABS during drive back to PJ home.
During I driving on Sepang national road without road light around 10:20PM on 28/2, I suddenly saw 1 black cow at roadside and I immediately slow down my Forte from 100km/h to 80km/h and at the same time found that 1 black cow lying down on middle of the road in front of my forte estimate 4m, I really shock and immediately hard press brake and turn my sterling to left into roadside to pass by the cow. I can felt the BD & ABS and other safety features response to make my forte continue move forward and by pass the cow by smooth turn left and turn right back. My wife immediately complaint me for the driving because at that time she hold my 15mths son who standing for view the road side. I am so worry and quickly stop at road side and check my family and my forte too. Lucky everything is OK; I noticed there are 1 Waja stop nearby and found the Waja is the car hit the cow and the Waja's front left corner and bonnet was damaged. I believe the cow may died for the accident and I really sad for this and quickly go inside car and continue drive back to PJ home.

I must thanks the cow at road side for the alert and Forte's safety features to avoid any damage to my passengers and vehicle. Now, I more confident to drive my Forte anywhere and anytime!!!

Thanks bro for suggestion. I hope you can suggest me the way to make kid or baby sit inside Baby car seat. I had purchased 1 but he always rejected to sit inside.

What I can do is always drive carefully everywhere although my Forte come with so many safety features.

I need to go SC for check the alignment because I felt alignment slightly out after my emergency brake with ABS yesterday.

Appreciate for your advice and I must take it as practice now to avoid same incident happen in shock seconds.

Try using liquid paper to cover it, only apply to white Forte.
KFC done it b4 and you can check with him.

If u want perfect, go to paint workshop and ask them to cover it and later ask them to touch with clear white paint together with clear coat touch up.

I believe that staff also dun know he scratch my door side during alignment services.

Dear all Forte owners,

I faced the same problem like bro, xIceLemonTeax and yhlee12.
Everyday I hear the same rattling sound from the left front passenger site (no passenger) but the sound will gone if passenger sit in front.

Really no idea where is the source of sound, maybe under seat nut?
Please response so we can bring it to NazaKia for solution.

Tested NHC motor steering function, it well control.
Tested Hyundai, Avante MDSP function, it too light at lower speed b4 90km/h and it become more heavy feel or control feeling later at high speed.

Noticed SG forum said that Forte 2.0 owner at S'pore are request to downgrade from MDSP to normal hydraulic. The feedback is Korea MDSP yet meet the owner like requirement, controlling feel. But, MDSP is very good in parking step.

Personally, I not like the MDSP where driving lower speed, I need to use 2 hands to control my steering and not confident to fast pickup during 2 times test drive for Avante. Hope Forte MDSP better than Avante's MDSP.
