I'm so sorry, let me introduce myself, I'm currently working at proton SC in petaling jaya and now i need some opinion for which gear oil type do BLM car owners prefer to use.

I'm planning to switch to the better gear oil because we had customers complaining about hard gear shifting sometimes after using the normal gear oil.

However, the price for the better ones is far more expensive than the normal ones.

So I wish to know whether the car owners here are willing to pay for that price for a better driving pleasure.

Thank you.

easy, just keep both of it, and ask customer when they want to change, let them choose themselves.

Personally i don't think the hard gear change got something to do with the oil itself but the design fault.

Hi jiaerl. It's good to have someone from proton SC here to share some opinion smile.gif
Is there anyone using aftermarket gear oil here? I would like to know if changing gear oil to the aftermarket one can reduce the hard gear shifting issue hmm.gif

Hi, has anyone here done any soundproofing for their BLM? I hear the Saga noise level is a bit high compared to Myvi. Any recommendations about budget soundproofing? Not DIY type but with installation for the complete set with engine bay, door and roof treatment.

I'm due to pick up my new black M-line manual this Thursday. A quieter ride will be my first priority.

Also, can anybody recommend a place that will accept trade in for M-line stock player (non-mp3) to mp3 player? How much they will they charge extra? I am in Petaling Jaya. TQ.

Tyre affects the most...so far i compare M-line with my B-line, M-line is quieter because of the tyre used. So test it out 1st.

coolkwc, thanks! I'll try first then. Regarding tyres, I heard that 15" rim gives the best FC. Any truth in that?

slow slow wait for the pm lor. as a manner of fact, why dun u google to check or survey urself? even if it is very easy to come in and ask for the answer, but given u did ur homework which the result is in vain, then we will help out, if not, u just wait for some nice replies around.

just to answer ur question. no projectors for BLM yet, unless its aftermarket, DIY or watever retrofit.angel eyes, go DIY or retrofit. eyelids, plenty. go find or google.

Ya, if 50 R15 the circumference is almost = 70 R13 and 60 R14, so FC won't affected. But ride comfort of 50/R15 might affected due to shorter sidewall now.

u can start with doors, bonnet soundproofing wont do much. if u check in garage sales, there is a package of installing 2 layers, bitumen and absorbing material for less than 300.

i heard u can trade in ur HU for about rm100

it is related to weight, most ppl would upgrade the rim from 14 or 13 inch to 15 inch for better look but also stay safe in FC and performance. anything bigger like 16 inches also ok, but the added weight will affect fc/performance and mostly the tire will be quite low profile and pricey and probably will scrap ur inner side of your fender / wheel arch everytime you do u-turn

guys, I have a question

are our headlights normally high? because tonight I got several cars (from the opposite road) flashing their headlights signaling that my beam is too high.. unsure.gif

we have 4 levels right? for the headlights which are off (no light), low beam (low light) , normal beam (quite bright) n other one is very bright (high beam by pulling the level towards you).

even with normal beam I got frequent flashing from opposite cars sad.gif or are u guys only use low light at night?
