QUOTE(claxxion @ Mar 8 2010, 02:02 PM) Yours auto or manual? Which branch did u get it from? Mine is Manual I'm also still waiting for my SE. Booked on 13th Feb. SA said waiting period is around 2 months or so.. I saw a memo from proton stated that booking made from February 2010 onwards, estimated Saga SE delivery period between 3~4months, while Saga just 2~3months. Have to wait patiently... |

QUOTE(ayieazz @ Mar 8 2010, 07:06 PM) try that v-power last week..full tank travel from bangi to kuala krai about 400km..still got 2 bar when arrive Really??I got my car last nite and fueled up & now already travelled 110km with only 4 bars left. I did notice there is 1 bar drop for each 44km journey trip. My trip is around cheras & pj - always keep rpm from revolving not more than 3000rpm. In ur case that's mean 1 bar = 100km = 6.7Liters of fuel consumption ; what is your odometer reading now? |

Just noticed that mud guard and below chasis area is paint with 'black wet paint' and feel sticky if u touch it. Is it normal? Do they do it purposely?

after 2 times fe-fuelling, can conclude that my Saga SE(M) consume 50km/1bar = ~6litres.. when drive on 70% highway, it consume 67km/1bar.

Just got back from 2days 1 night in Cameron Highland with my BLM (now odo already 1020km
From Sg.Besi all away to Cameron and come back to Sg.Buloh RnR, cost me RM55 for 350km. No problem climbing the hill n tackle the corner with full 5 passenger load+luggage I also used voltage-stabilizer(somebody give 1 week for me to test) in my car & notice the huge different drove the hill; w/o it my car barely can move on 3rd gear. The ride was so smooth. Now want to test it on normal ride in KL |

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Mar 20 2010, 10:46 PM) QUOTE(nyencheong @ Mar 21 2010, 12:31 AM) Added on March 21, 2010, 1:02 amhey guys, another Saga SE, White Auto owner, i got my car last year mid oct, yet so many unfortunate things happened to me, I made booking right after SE launch for a week, wait about 5 weeks. After got my car for 3 days, accident on federal highway hit myvi back, change bonet, n repaint my front bumper,T_T. In January 2010, after i tint my car, a lorry 'fly' a stone to my windscreen, and it crack after 2 days, about a week, only realise when the crack grow for 1 foot T_Tx2, last month, my driver side power windows fail to operate after i fully open it, its on my way back home at about 7pm, OMG, all Proton Service Center were close, since i stay in apartment, no guard, no car park (open area), no choice hv to take down the cover n fix myself, luckily my fren told me accessories shop can temporaly fix it, so fix it before i drove to Proton SC Now is month number 6th, and already close to 10,000km and yet the best FC i made is 380km for RM60 (RON 97), its very bad compare to its rival. High FC means more power, I drove my fren's myvi, personal opinion, less power compare to Saga, Saga begining accerelation may be slower than Myvi, but after 2200rpm.........woohooo.....Besides, I personally think the Saga SE got a very good agility and control, very stable on highway, AC extremely cold even under hot sun, big boot, confortable leather seats, and good looking. Its rival SE got bluetooth, ABS, +2 power windows & extra small small stuff but with RM11,000 difference, I think it can be compensated..... "I LOVE SAGA SE" btw, how much does it cost for u to repain ur bumper? do we need to know the colour code or the shop can identify it for us? |

Hi guys, just want to share something.
In case our beloved BLM got scratched on the body paint, we can use touch-up paint which can be find in carefour - come with exactly same colour with our Saga body. For my case,my Saga SE got some scatched on the front bumper. applied it using water colour brush and now looks fine (need to applied clear coating later for better finishing). |

QUOTE(enCORe @ Apr 2 2010, 04:02 PM) uwaah, have u apply it with water color ? unluckily, mine is not minor scratch. My front bumper touch the parking divider. got 1cm x 4cm mark there if a minor scratches dont apply it, just wax and polish it, the touch paint Autospa suits for major / bigger scratches or color peel off, QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Apr 2 2010, 08:39 PM) I just follow that painting guide. I clean the scratch for dust then applied the paint using brush - never use cotton but! |

QUOTE(Enclave Recruit @ Apr 6 2010, 06:21 PM) 3 months ago, my fuel consumption was 24.5 cents for every km. Mine improve from 16.7sen per km to 15sen Fast forward to today, my fuel consumption is 20 cents for every km. The Saga's fuel consumption improves after all as time passes by 100% city driving in Penang Mileage 3000+ km. Car serviced only once. Milleage also same like urs. |

QUOTE(jiaerl @ Apr 11 2010, 11:17 PM) I'm so sorry, let me introduce myself, I'm currently working at proton SC in petaling jaya and now i need some opinion for which gear oil type do BLM car owners prefer to use. Hi jiaerl. It's good to have someone from proton SC here to share some opinion I'm planning to switch to the better gear oil because we had customers complaining about hard gear shifting sometimes after using the normal gear oil. However, the price for the better ones is far more expensive than the normal ones. So I wish to know whether the car owners here are willing to pay for that price for a better driving pleasure. Thank you. Is there anyone using aftermarket gear oil here? I would like to know if changing gear oil to the aftermarket one can reduce the hard gear shifting issue |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Apr 18 2010, 01:53 PM) mline got airbag, bline dont have isnt it? I think its quite important to have drivers airbag at least..but anyway, its up to u..monthly payment not too big a diff actually if u go for higher spec. u mean we can expand our boot by folding rear seat? does SE foldable too? I didnt notice that. edit: not to mention bline rear seats are not foldable..mline ones are foldable..so like i said, its more value for money if u check the specs properly..airbag u cannot add in yourself at those kedai abang ali ah kow..it has to be factory fitted. |

just drove back to KL from Singapore..
About 650km distance from Sg.Besi to JB immigration from both direction. Consumed RM100 of fuel Ron95 with driving speed 120kmh/140kmh Can conclude that our BLM have a really stable handling on high speed & good engine power for 1.3 car. But the engine noise is very2 loud and not easy on our ear - maybe need to find solution to reduce the noise. |
