Go to Control Panel - Power Option, on the left, choose "What do to when closing the lid" then change it to do nothing instead of sleep...

is there a way i change my media key to marco function key ? or i need a 3rd party software to do that ?
Added on March 20, 2010, 8:39 pmeh isit the performance will be lower if i am not charging it ? it become laggy when i turn off the power adapted but it back on speed if i back on charging or isit my setting problem ? i checked my control pannel > power option nothing seem to be affecting it ... Hey guys, did you notice that the Dell Studio XPS 16 with the CPU Core i7 is not available for online customization? It indirectly indicates that the new GPU refresh is going to come very soon?

ah... posting from australia here using my XPS 16... long time no visit this thread edi.
btw, my room in aus is dusty as hell oh, using xps 16 in msia on a flat wooden table is prolly not a great idea... coz even in australia temperature, i can feel the heat of the laptop thru the wood... approx 2.5cm thick wood.... sad sad |

An upgrade to HD5000 series GPU is almost inevitable
