this is quite suprise. i went to this shop before at jaya one planning to buy a psp. lucky my guts telling me to survey other places first eventhough their price is quite cheaper compare to other LYN sellers. this is really a bad reputation to seller.

Go and make a report at consumer's tribunal since he has a shop. He can run from LYN, but his shop can't run.

My dad bought a faulty TV from a reputable electronic shop a few years ago (Around RM 7k) and it busted after a few days. The shop repaired the TV for free, but it still went bust after a few days. Told the shop to fully refund us, but they didnt want to, so my dad made a report to consumer's tribunal. Around a month, we got the full 7k back.

Point is, dont go to the police, go to consumer's tribunal. Even if u dont have much proof, they will help u.

TS, you're also at fault for being so naive. So don't think that you're so innocent and you're free from mistakes. You've made a mistake and you paid for it. As for the seller, he's a lying twat that always on a prowl looking for someone like you to fool. How can you lost/gave away the only proof that can link that cheating ******* with this transaction? You make 2 big mistakes, first, by not doing enough research on the item you want to buy online or at least check the item's condition before paying and worse, you pick a spot with inadequate lighting. Another mistake is losing the receipt. So there you are, what's done is done and learn from this experience.

Why didn't you clarify everything from the beginning?

You gave an impression of trying to dodge away from responsibility and never tell that's not the NDSL you sold to her.

Pics are posted as proof and you should post your proof to. Post your shops record for items sold to TS. End of story. Then we'll know who's lying.

Just some fruit for thought. First of all i think you were not told the truth before buying the item as from the pics I can tell you it is a refurbished set as the casing has been changed. Why do I know of this, is because we at Gadget's 4 U is the subsidiary of the leading refurbishment company in asia. We distribute these goods to game shops not only in Malaysia but also to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and others... We have specifically told them that this is a refubished unit but they still tell customers its "New" so that they can earn an extra buck.

We have in fact labelled the word "refubish" on the box but apparently it has been removed so it passes like brand new.

They were also suppose to indicate in their receipts that the item is a refurbished item as part of our agreement with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. There are refurbished units for all major game consoles in the market. Even the NDSI, PSP GO and the PS3 Slim.

I suppose you may report this to the Consumer tribunal, since you are a consumer and you have been cheated upon purchase of an item which you supposedly thought its new.

There's not such thing as fake, as there is only look-alikes. So choose to use your words carefully when dealing with them as the words itself may reflect back to your claim.

She's not in LYN, so I'm just doing her a favor do post this problem up.

I've already give him choice to settle this problem, but he seems to deny.
He sold non-original sets to me and denied.
Its now faulty and he trying to charge me to fix it while the warranty is still valid.

Already told you to report to tribunal but you insist want to settle it here. Already said no user talking to him since he is denying.

Also, you need to be the one reporting because you dealt with him. Cause if your friend were to report, he/she will need to report you because he/she dealing with you.

Top Games, do something to prove urself not selling a recon set better than u posted to insult thread starter is liar or whatever, no need to be overreact for such case unless you seriously sold her fake NDSL and you afraid you cant get any business from LYN. Be polite to buyer and practice a good manner to serve your customer better. From the way you react is no difference with those ahbeng ahseng ( No Offense ) tried to threaten her and make her close the thread and you run away from this case. Prove to people or else u carry dispute tag forever.

To TS, i feel for you but i hope next time you can do more research about the items u getting, find some trusted seller next time

OMG...i bought my XBOX360 from Top Games.........

I actually want to go to Bernard's, but since I'm around PJ that day, and can't wait anymore, i went over there. Luckily my XBOX360 seems ok so far so good....

But i do have something i'm not quiet satisfied....i saw a plug and charge kit....the packaging says 'For X360'....it looks like fake to me and i remember reading something about fakes like this, i believe the ori should be 'For XBOX360'. Yet he insist it is original......so i didn't bother....since i wasn't particular interested in that item, i just let it go at that coz i was in a hurry.

Anyone can clarified how the fake packaging for the play and charge kit looks like? I can't seems to find back the previous info i dug out.

Wow...i didn't know got such thing as fake NDSL....got fake XBOX360 or not????
