Just some fruit for thought. First of all i think you were not told the truth before buying the item as from the pics I can tell you it is a refurbished set as the casing has been changed. Why do I know of this, is because we at Gadget's 4 U is the subsidiary of the leading refurbishment company in asia. We distribute these goods to game shops not only in Malaysia but also to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and others... We have specifically told them that this is a refubished unit but they still tell customers its "New" so that they can earn an extra buck.

We have in fact labelled the word "refubish" on the box but apparently it has been removed so it passes like brand new.

They were also suppose to indicate in their receipts that the item is a refurbished item as part of our agreement with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. There are refurbished units for all major game consoles in the market. Even the NDSI, PSP GO and the PS3 Slim.

I suppose you may report this to the Consumer tribunal, since you are a consumer and you have been cheated upon purchase of an item which you supposedly thought its new.

There's not such thing as fake, as there is only look-alikes. So choose to use your words carefully when dealing with them as the words itself may reflect back to your claim.
