Old version has got all relevent data being displayed in each page, wherelse new version has irrelevant data displayed in each page. For examle, - old version has got, Buyer Volume, Buyer Price, Seller Price, Seller Volume in 1 page - new version has got ---------Last, Volume, Buy Quantity---------(1 page) -------Buyer Price, Buyer Quantity, Seller Price------(another page) 3) Scrolling through pages of stocks is troublesome as the 'Page up' and 'Page Down' button is missing in the B.yond remote control. |

Has the lead time from request till installation improved drastically? Judging from the significant drop in rants, can I assume Astro has managed to clear Byond's back-logs?

Anyone of you using 5.1 digital audio notice that the sound output from Nat Geo channel is faster than the image? So much so that I have to lengthen the audio time lag setting to 200ms in order to synchronize it. For the other channels, 20ms is just about right. So troublesome just to change the setting from time to time.

N that also I had to call every 2 days to get my application right up to the management.. Turned out that the installer just return the decoder and my application to the office without filing a report to correct the problem. Finally got a kind and efficient astro employee at cs and a very good customer friendly installer who helped me get my Byond. As 4 ur question, depend on the installer and personnel at Byond department. They will try and woo new customers, but the ones who have problem might get delay and suffer a bit la. Anyway, Byond ROCKS!!! |

How could some get fast installation when others got totally frustrated with the long wait? Is the installation of Byond, a lucky draw process? Sadly I see this as poor management. im not defending astro...but i ty to make it in balance line......ok, we all can complaint....no problem to complain....but b4 we complaint, we must make homework 1st la...like this....astro byond oni can subscribe through astro HQ oni...wut i mean is the installer not selling it...
ok, then maybe astro hq have reserve the decorder seperately by state.....and oso, they also have limited stock by state la(i think so).... then thats y some people got fast and some not...oni my point of view.....but, please bare in mind, they give us HD service for free until June i think, correct me if im wrong.. But, its not to say we cannot complaint,but consider..hehe....dun fire me.. |

me also not here to defend astro or what. just mine opinion. as u all know, astro installer are all over the states and surely new set of decoder need to distribute first to the astro installer, not based on order. some states must have high demand, some might not and this demand really sometimes cannot predict. surely u cannot ask other installer to cross state to install for u first rite. if u are doing business like astro, sure u wont do that. Pls think rasionally. regarding the matter when got 1 subscriber where information not fill in correctly and astro take more than 10 days to correct it, this one astro need to improve their services. just to share my opinion here, not to disrespect any brudder here...1 Malaysia
