Called KIA hotline to check order status and queue number this morning until now they haven't call me back.

But then the helpline gal said that 2.0 no stock now bla bla bla and will most prob be here 'MARCH', not the standard 3-4 months answer... hmm...

just call...even 1.6 maybe can't register before CNY.....KIA care line just change their statement that maybe the kastam issue cant resolve until next week...even can settle kastam issue...naza need 2 days for registration. so if this issue settle next week in Wednesday, still don't have time 2 register i need to cancel my holiday...don't have a car

Yeah, civic 2.0 has the vtec power (exclude 1.8 civic).
My colleague's 2.0 old sonata push to the limit is 220km/h while civic from behind can easily overtake him with ease.
I think that civic 2.0 was at 250km/h...
Nevertheless, who cares? I buy forte 2.0 not for racing, I want the feel of power but not racing..


It's good to opt for 407 if within budget, cause 407 will only be replaced by 508 somewhere in 2011.
the newly launched 408 in china is C segment car...the look not bad eeither.

Many Singaporean Forte 1.6 owners are using the same filter and without any problem. So i guess should be ok.

No lah bro ... i think should be mud guards, door visors and for standard and leather seats and BK for Novus version with even higher price ... or maybe the will just throw in 5 years warranty to justify the price increase ... feature wise, Forte 1.6SX and 2.0SX have almost everything already and I dont think they will add on something which costs more e.g. electronic foldable side mirrors, 5 speeds gear, etc ... I really hope that they will give electronic foldable side mirrors cos we can definitely buy and add on at SC if they are offering that to the new buyers

If you are getting that one, must make sure that i can fit Forte's roof ... cos Forte's roof its a bit curve at the end (near rear windscreen), so it might not stick properly and there might be a gap at the end area.

Its best to wait for awhile and see if the 1st batch of 2.0SX comes with sharfin antenna and get the original one that fits perfectly

No need to be so positive guys (act to), quite confirm b4 cny cannot get one already. Unless today SA said your car is ready :-)

Shark fin Antena- count me in if anyone of you got source (bulk buy) the original one look like waja :-s

Autolock/ pedal lock- Sorry to inform that not yet have the model for forte. Also sourcing now...I saw my friend city install this. Very gd, another layer of protection (i lose my car last 2 months, prevention always better than cure)
