Added on January 23, 2010, 9:46 pmSoundproofing & Reducing Tire Rumble Package available for Forte:

1) Roar Killer.
4 wheel arch treatment. Proven to be the most effection solution for tire, road and engine roar.

2) AutoFoam C pillar treatment.
A MUST-DO for the Forte. Drastically reduces rear tire Noise and Harshness.

3) Rear parcel shelf treatment.
A special Double-Layer treatment with award winning European SP material.
the Cure for Resonance and Drone. Simple test..be a back passenger for 5 mins.

Total weight here is 1kg !!!

guys i did this in preparation for upgrading audio system later on not really to address tire noise as mine is ok. if u are on 17in and have heavy drone noise this is an option. bear in mind once u got lesser noise from the back the front will sound louder. my back road noise is very low now so some of u can try during tt before i continue more areas like doors & front.

If you are interested, please PM me for the contact of the Singapore seller. If you are wondering how hard is it to DIY, well a lot harder than changing emblems cos a lot of screws to remove and screw back and many are in tight areas and you have to screw some upside down ... but its really worth it if you are used to putting keys and etc in the top compartment of your previous car biggrin.gif

lol. don't over optimistic that they can do the alignment job. mine twice wasted 5 hours but the problem still exits.
thats the puchong SC lack currently. heard that the alignment taiko already left and nobody know how to use alignment machine there correctly.
if they can fix the alignment, then good to hear. good luck.
*
just go to my regular place maystorm opposite puchong sc nearby puchong police station & next to puchong club.
look for the branch manager mr.chin.

1st Forte at KLAuto checking what soundproofing can be done at the right places to be effective. Desmond the boss tested my car on the road to gauge the NVH. Measured the interior noise with a sound meter (SPL) before & after soundproofing. Did the rear only to see if the setup is working before i do the whole car.

Guide:

1. Clean OEM emblem on wheel with cloth make sure no oil or dirt on surface to avoid bulge.
2. Peel sticker off and stick from 1 side while sweeping side to side with a cloth or finger to make sure no bubbles.
3. Press all sides into edge of OEM emblem
4. Use cloth press all areas to massage any air out.

Extra info: you can spray a clear coat over the sticker for better effect - (any clear coat can spray from hardware shop will do)

City is B-segment car while Forte is C-segment.(bigger in size)
I'd prefer bigger(look nicer,just nice for my 180cm height).
City too cramped.. from far look like a toy car, length is short...
Hopefully city fans won't attack me here..hehe
*
city is a good car for its size & segment its a matter of brand & taste
forte owners are more adventurous and tasteful ... hehehehe

1. I need to pay 1K booking
2. I need to get bank loan approved, Sign LOU
3. I need to pay balance of 9% or 10%
4. By doing 1-3 Kia/Naza will only allocate car to me
5. Normally, the used car agent will give me black and white on my used car value that agreed to be trade in
6. The agent or the used car agent will need to go my old car bank to settle bank loan.

yes... this is the process.
