What actually causing the delay since the car is already at the dealer place? They want to use it as show unit first? Better call careline and get it asap lo.if this is the case, my car will be lying at my dealer's place for 2 weeks.. guess i have to put sum pressure thru careline.. 1. Installed the mud guard this morning, got it done by an installer cos do not have the tool to DIY. Just now it was raining in Penang and the mud guard really did a great job 2. No need to mention the Original Forte wheel caps 3. This might be too small to see ... the Kia tyre air valve cap 4. mmm not really a mod, but got it waxed with anti-static coating (really wish can Glow in Penang, but too bad none here Going to get the tools and try to DIY the two level armrest tomorrow to complete my mod before the sharkfin antenna, which should be my final mod at the moment This post has been edited by 4te: Jan 23 2010, 07:18 PM |

Proven to be the most effection solution for tire, road and engine roar. 2) AutoFoam C pillar treatment. A MUST-DO for the Forte. Drastically reduces rear tire Noise and Harshness. 3) Rear parcel shelf treatment. A special Double-Layer treatment with award winning European SP material. the Cure for Resonance and Drone. Simple test..be a back passenger for 5 mins. Total weight here is 1kg !!! guys i did this in preparation for upgrading audio system later on not really to address tire noise as mine is ok. if u are on 17in and have heavy drone noise this is an option. bear in mind once u got lesser noise from the back the front will sound louder. my back road noise is very low now so some of u can try during tt before i continue more areas like doors & front.
Bro, what is the damage for the above SP? it reduce the tire/road sound by around how many percent? Added on January 24, 2010, 1:39 am
Met up with 4te twice today.. first to molest his Forte since I didn't able to get one myself.. i meant admiring his DIY on the Forte and also checking out his tint.. and followed by later meeting him again in the late evening at the tint shop. Thanks to 4te on the tine recommendation as I personally didn't really do much comparison and suddenly need to do one.
Thanks a lot bro, but let me know what do you think of the tint after testing it for a few days ... cos i am going to negotiate with my friend to give all the members here, FB and FM the special price and without any time limit (no need pay deposit whatsoever) This post has been edited by 4te: Jan 24 2010, 01:39 AM |

After 1 solid hour of DIYing ... finally got the two level armrest installed
The leather or feel on the two level armrest is slightly harder (thinking of wrapping it with additional layer of leather to make it softer) than the stock one and it is slightly higher (around 1cm), which is just nice for me as I feel that the stock armrest is slightly lower. If you have lots of small things to keep in the car, this is a very good solution as the top compartment is quite big and the bottom compartment can still fit a CD height with some room to spare If you are interested, please PM me for the contact of the Singapore seller. If you are wondering how hard is it to DIY, well a lot harder than changing emblems cos a lot of screws to remove and screw back and many are in tight areas and you have to screw some upside down ... but its really worth it if you are used to putting keys and etc in the top compartment of your previous car |

QUOTE(whiteforte @ Jan 25 2010, 10:38 PM) Saw a black Forte, PJL 63** parked outside Tesco, near e-Gate at around 6pm. Windows tinted black & rims are customized, looked like 17" to 18" rims. Quite nice. Could the owner be the member here? If you are reading, please share with us the photo of your black Forte |
Bro, I see this on ebay, is it also 3d design?
yup 3d design Added on January 26, 2010, 7:39 pm

So Sugen how much did u get those from ebay?
Its USD3.99 if i am not mistaken ... but please bear in mind that it doesn't fit our Forte wheel cap cos the size is 55MM and our wheel cap is 59MM. If you are thinking of getting sticker, i would suggest you go for that one Kia Forte is selling, looks cleaner and can cover the whole wheel cap This post has been edited by 4te: Jan 26 2010, 07:39 PM |

QUOTE(bbear @ Jan 26 2010, 04:15 PM) Really feel sorry for the 2.0 SX buyers ( First love is the most difficult to forget la hahaha Most car needs > 2 weeks from booking to registrations. Unless you already have an alternative car in mind + with ready stock + the color you wanted.. if not, don't bother to think of cancel just because wanted to book another car to get it before CNY. just my 2 cents.. and as for myself.. I am already driving my new car... Did I regret ? ha ha.. i also don't know because I couldn't answer myself why I still kept browsing this thread daily.. nope, hourly. You wont regret, unless suddenly NAZA announces that due to the long wait of 2.0 buyers, they will give all buyers who booked before 1-1-10 a RM10K discount as compensation hehehe ... i will also regrest getting the 1.6 |
