I think Proton save cost for 15 rim cars by using smaller tyre. Cos 16 rim model speed are tally with actual speed.

Those tyre indicated "V" already bring you to max 270kph. Actually, the "W" can go to max 240 is enough for us, unless you ride can go beyond 240 kph biggrin.gif If you dunno the indication i said, you can go check your tyre side wall, it shud have indication like e.g "91w" or "87v"

Hi guys, I would like to ask if my Waja 4g18 can go up to Genting?

I'm very worry that it will overheated or whatsoever during half way up.

It's 4g18, 7 years car, mileage around 110k.

Do I have to switch to 3, 2 or L when going up?

How about going down? I put 3 enough? or 2?
*
Afraid your Waja going up genting? are you joking? with the proper maintenance it is ok! i always rev up to genting... coz i got some work there havent finished!!! When my car auto that time i always maintain at 2nd gear till the top hill hahahahaha!!! hentam kaw kaw!

Actually what do you guys mean by proper maintenance? I send for maintenance every 5,000 as requested, does it mean okay?

How do I know if I need to use D or 3, 2, L to go up hill?

When coming down? Use 3, 2, or L? or just put D and step on brake..

every 5k service then it should be ok! make sure ur brakes is in proper condition before going up!

when going up 3 definitely no power... so use 2 until u feel like very high rev then put to 3! When going up hill, you will have to rev to 4k rpm or even 5 k rpm depending on your drive... when coming down u can use D, 3 or 2 ... not L! the reason of putting to 3 or 2 when goin down hill is to prevent ur brake pads over heat by using engine braking!

regards
Steven

proper maintenance as in u take care of ur engine so it dont overheat or lost too much power over the years. also the brakes is important when coming downhill.. too much braking cause overheat hence brake fade etc...
