Guess everyone is back to ipoh for "Cheng Meng"..
Just want to ask you guys.. yesterday i was tailing a nissan mirano at highway but wasnt aware that i was speeding until i feel a vibration on the floor then as i looked at the speedo meter. i was doing like 160km/h (my new record actually)..
Is that normal on a waja when you hit that speed you will feel vibration on the chasis floor..?
*
That's uncommon..
Might be your suspension bush is out.

we call it vacuum box because it prevent the hot air from the engine bay going into the open pod filter area. the original air intake from the bonnet will channel the cool air instead.
it was a clear bigger plastic box shape(just like the original waja air box that cover the open pod area. sorry no picture but
a few of my friend was using it last time. my waja is definitely 'stock'  blush.gif
if am not mistaken, johnvk's waja vip ride was using the same setup too!  brows.gif

I've seen johnvk's open pod air filter box, its the transparent acrylic box right? custom made i assume

Brotherjoe@
you sure it was the chassis floor vibration?
uneven tires wear or even an aged suspension that can't sustain certain speed will cause the vibration. your wheels bearing is fine?
check your lower arm bushes
i used to drive at 190km/h without any vibration.
btw, waja speedometer is more or less about 10km/h faster than the actual speed recorded on digital meter / gps.

swk_sam@
my waja 4g18p doesn't even vibrate at 190km/h.
but engine vibration at high speed accompanied by a humming sound thats very disturbing to the ear; a sign of engine mounting going to reach it's end of lifespan tongue.gif

jolipoli81@
yes. that's the way it's done! most of the workshop in sunway will be happily customize em for you thumbup.gif
johnvk is one tough guy flex.gif his ride used to be on bling2 wheels with hardest tein superstreet setup sweat.gif

Mine also go steady on 190 kph biggrin.gif Anyway, speedo meter 10kph slower than gps speed only if u are using 195/55/15 tyre. If u are using 195/65/15, 205/55/16 or 205/45/17 will only had 1-3kph tolerance speed different biggrin.gif

If its 800 per pair+CF finish+LED signal light+electrically adjust+electrically flipping, I think its reasonable. Since ori one (with electrically adjust and flip) is 460/pc.

Hi guys, I would like to ask if my Waja 4g18 can go up to Genting?

I'm very worry that it will overheated or whatsoever during half way up.

It's 4g18, 7 years car, mileage around 110k.

Do I have to switch to 3, 2 or L when going up?

How about going down? I put 3 enough? or 2?
