why go back to stock setup?
just get a proper clear vacuum box for the open pod. leave the stock waja air intake that goes to the old airbox; it will channel the cool air from outside
right to the vacuum box and open pod filter.    smile.gif

sure ah Neo is running on mitsu or campro or u mod edi?

b48753 : if you plan to service ur car and reflash, kindly pm me.

Danny : Suggest you go for crimefighter alarm system. go google it smile.gif.

Jerry : sell ur filter, kindly google out BMC CDA air filter. See its construction, It lets you connect to ur intake hose at one end, and connect a CAI hose directly to the other end. Its a cone-shaped filter inside.

Added on April 3, 2010, 12:46 amand, Danny, you missed another TT session. Just done reprogramming on saihoe's Waja. He changed his plug and oil as well.

oh, its original waja springs only. what i meant is, i bought my new waja, drove it for less thn 6 mths thn i went to upgrade my suspension system leaving behind the ori absorber and springs which is less thn 6 mths old. Absorbers are sold d, so now left springs. So anyone with sagging springs etc interested to get em can just let me know smile.gif

what is a vacuum box? sorry notworthy.gif

i went for a few round of test just now. seems lacking something. the feeling is like not enough air go thru below 3k. sweat.gif i was told the filter might be too small for the car... might consider a bigger filter later....
*
we call it vacuum box because it prevent the hot air from the engine bay going into the open pod filter area. the original air intake from the bonnet will channel the cool air instead.
it was a clear bigger plastic box shape(just like the original waja air box that cover the open pod area. sorry no picture but
a few of my friend was using it last time. my waja is definitely 'stock' blush.gif
if am not mistaken, johnvk's waja vip ride was using the same setup too! brows.gif

Guess everyone is back to ipoh for "Cheng Meng"..
Just want to ask you guys.. yesterday i was tailing a nissan mirano at highway but wasnt aware that i was speeding until i feel a vibration on the floor then as i looked at the speedo meter. i was doing like 160km/h (my new record actually)..
Is that normal on a waja when you hit that speed you will feel vibration on the chasis floor..?
