depending on the disc indicator. max should be 2x only but it's not advisable to skim twice due to safety reason.
btw, brembo max works better with better quality pad. so does those slotted / cross drilled rotor. ie; ferodo zero or metal king ti
for waja, if the stock disc and pad is fine, bleeding the brake fluid after every year will be just fine. and upgrading to dual layer brake servo
should be sufficient enough.

rerouting the air intake is akin to CAI mod. could be from anywhere else except the bumper cuz the hole looks ugly.
a friend of mine modded his waja air intake. assembled another air intake that connect direct to the properly holed existing air intake(underneath).
problem was air filter need to require frequent clean up coz' it was still a drop in type.
btw, the existing air intake placing is already good enough for sohc 4g18p

ahhh... if u have the old caliper front 1 set to sell u let me know coz i dun have front brake hahaha... my caliper long time jammed edi!

just wondering. how much would it cost to skim disc rotors? my mech said about rm100 for front both sides. is that the normal price?

It's the arm mounting/bush..

today when going to the car and unlock the car.. the unlocked and the signal light lit up but the sound gone.. i check the battery no problem.. even try unlock and lock but the sound seems gone.. anyone know what the issue here?

mins also got same problem, sometimes the sound will appear, sometimes it just wont
but i love it when the sound it gone

Guys, my waja got new problem pulak..

Previously my radiator fan motor kong.. So i change loh.. Now when the fan start moving, the engine started to rattling / vibrating / shaking like nobody business.. Even my dashboard also shake like hell.. But if the fan stop, all back to normal..

i went to the shop again and the mech said it's due to engine mounting problem.. Is it true? Or is it because that fella didn't install properly the radiator fan? Planning to change the engine mounting this weekend IF really because of it.. Pls help..

U try to open the front hood n see urself... which part shaking when the fan kicks in...

CPS can select whether want sound or not. Just pressed both button (at remote) once.

Lolz.. after change become shaky may be not mounting problem... Need to check the installation is it carry out properly.

Workshops cannot perform disc skimming. They either send it to a machine shop or get some guy with a 'brake disk skimming machine' on a bike to go to the workshop to do it.

Added on March 25, 2010, 9:02 amDid you accidentally put the alarm into silent mode? Some proton alarms goes into silent mode if you press both buttons at once. Press both buttons to disengage silent mode.

Nop this is something wrong with the ECU read out... need to reprogram! i think ur stepper motor not working properly! u can know it by turning and off the A/C compressor. For normal operation, either compressor is on and off the RPM will almost stay at the same speed.

Added on March 25, 2010, 10:26 ami think they're lying coz disc skimming now is very portable... they will call a vendor to come to the work shop, and the vendor rides a bike with a mini skimming machine! they skim your disc on the spot with their tools after you remove your car tyre!

I went for second time and told the mech that before he install the radiator fan, no shaky2 watever but now vibrates like hell.. he insist its due to engine mounting.. the mech is my friend summore behave like this..

everytime something shake mech alwes blame engine mounting one lo... its like a standard answer d rather then finding wuts the real problem...
