btw, already check with jpj, they no longer allowed an upgrade to 4g63t from 4g18p

add; was an auto transmission.
eh, does the twintip gsr exhaust consider as an upgrade? since, it may cause the loss of power which i don't even noticed at all
my sister had been complaining about the rough engine sound lately... guess it's time for throttle body check.

i was thinking of 4g93t too... but it was about the same with my other car which am going to let go next week.
for NA engine, any other option other than 4g92? any comment on a 4g93 block with mivec(4g92) top?

guys, the gen2 hand brake lever look nice but not sure if it will fit into waja....anyone?

yepp. 4g93T where the T stand for turbo. 4g93 na is available too!
i am considering 4g93t terbalik with mivec head soon.

installation cost almost 3k. more or less but it must done the proper way by authorize center. (read on the paper about a waja taxi's blown up ngv tank before... )
refill only available in kl and a few other big town. again, you have to fight for the refill with the taxis.
some petronas station refill more pressure and less gas, thus, return a lower mileage per ngv tank.
car feel less responsive with ngv too.
btw, you can always pump petrol once you are running out of ngv gas.

it's merely individual preference, go ahead and do your bit for the environment...

dang! my sister get back to me with my waja just now...guess what?
she said 40 bucks of caltex ron97 only last for 140km which is about 7km/l:sweat:
i drive the car back and the engine sound is harsher and louder than before.
service interval is still 3.5k km away.

checked tires pressure, no problem.
besides throttle body cleaning, any other suggestion?

she was using bhp's ron97 all the way(hence, the rough engine sound). paid with my credit card

standard take off in D but there is an excessive front wheelspin (happened at any road condition), what could be the problem?

tires thread about 80% c.drive.

standard take off below 2.5k rpm also wheelspin at asphalt road. auto transmission some more
swapped with friend's falken 912, still same problem.

my cornering style; brake late just before the corner / never brake at all and press the gas instead / control steering during corner . never brake during fast corner especially on small road.
was once 'cucuk' by a heavily modded vr4 saga on the way down from cameron. i know our waja can't beat the vr4 on lighter body saga but corner wise, taking corner at 140km/h is nothing for waja auto with tein adjustable. the toy on the dashboard moved from middle to left - right but the car stay in line. the wider tire 205/55/r15 at the rear really help! the saga driver never had a chance to overtake due to the sharp corner.

i seconded that. i used to set my tein superstreet with hard setting during a trip to cameron / karak / genting.
but mine was only 15" wheels with 205/55 rear.

which tein are you using? am on superstreet and my sister keep saying it was rock hard.

i was told waja oil filter was integrated into the oil pump. in order to change the oil filter, we need to change to oil pump.
is that true? cuz' as far as i know, the oil filter itself is located underneath the back seat

fuel filter. i may change mine due to frequent switch of fuel manufacturer.

there is one workshop(s.y workshop or something) behind parkroyal hotel in kl(entrance same with oversea restaurant jalan imbi further up) that offer cheap aircond service. a few of my friend been there before.
20 bucks labour + 30 bucks gas.

btw, loud engine noise could be caused by a worn out bushes and engine mounting.
i just switch back to tein superstreet adjustable and there is a lesser sound from all 4 absorber area when driving over uneven road surface. too bad i'd been spending less time with my waja lately.

engine sound could not be be heard from inside the cabin(with audio turn off) during idle with the aircond turn on. but the 'ssshhhhhhh' sound is there. even the new saga blm i bought for my other sister has the same ocassional 'shhhhh' sound

tested before. it's about the same with idle myvi engine sound. idle rpm around 800.
am only using shell hx7. planning to do engine oil flushing and try idemitsu semi synth on next service
