thx bahathir.. erm the same file as mine.. but when i tried to update from sdcard.. the verification failed and aborted..

now re downloading the file..

I suggest you to try with different browsers such as Firefox or Chrome. Or try it from other location/place or computers. Also do test or checksum the zip file.

May i know will the update deleted all the contacts and sms inside the phone?

currently i'm in the office.. and the only computer i have is the macbook pro..

maybe i have to borrow my officemate's pc just to dl the file hahah

SMS, MMS, contacts,... are intact. BTW, I already synced my contacts to google contacts and I am not worry much

ok finally get it. thx a lot bahathir! i dl the file using my colleague's pc from your link above..

put the update.zip at the root folder of ur sd card. meaning just copy n paste into the sd card.

Nothing happened although i copied it in the sdcard in zip or extracted. Or i did it wrongly?

Touch screen problem again.....

Hi Guys,

Will be getting mine on coming Friday (keep my finger cross)....I'm thinking to get a 16gb MicroSD card, any recommendation? I heard the latest is Class 6, what is the differences? What is the estimated price for it and can I get it in Malaysia?

Let me put down the steps roughly as i remember:
1. Place the zip file in your SD Card root..not in any folders or subfolders
2. Rename it as update..meaning the full path is update.zip
3. Power off your device
4. Hold the volume down button and power on your device..you should see a list of options now
5. Click on the recovery option. Your device will restart and you will now see an exclaimation mark with a small android.
6. Press the volume up + power button together
7. You should see an option something like Update: Sd card: update.zip (don't really remember)
8. Scroll to there and click using your trackball. It should start running and will ask for a reboot after that..and you are basically done

My Nexus One is now being shipped over to Singapore. Will get it by CNY. Hope to post up some reviews then!
