Yeah..just bring back the box..not a problem at all.

If you are still scared..the box is not sealed..so u can ask ur fren take out the phone..put into the pouch given together, and go pass the custom. They can't catch u if it's an used item rite smile.gif

xavier7, you bringing it in from sg?
it would be great if someone could share some tips on smuggling the whole thing (inclusive of box and stuff) in here
*
If you really want the box and other materials, perhaps it could be unfolded and flattened and just posted back from SG as a regular letter, while you carry the phone, pouch and charger with you?

And if customs ask you why you're carrying two phones, and only one has a SIM, you can always say you use to other one with a local prepaid SIM when you're overseas, it's cheaper that way.

Haven't tried any of this. 8-)

Still so damn blur with brand new N1 and must be activate with google and what is the fastest way to send contact outlook to N1..please help?

Added on January 29, 2010, 2:00 amExport Contacts from Outlook and Import to Nexus One

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure there's a lot of you that have your contacts already synced with MS Outlook 2007 and need to get them to your new Nexus. Here's an easy way to do it:

Step 1
Open Outlook and click on your contacts
Go to File > Import and Export > Select Export to a file - Next
Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) - Next
Select Contacts - Next
Save the file in a known location - Next
Click on 'Map Custom Fields' and make sure Default Maps are set
Click Finish
Step 2
Log Into your Gmail account
Click Contacts in the left menu
Click Import in the top right
Choose file and select the .csv file you just saved (add them to a group if you want)
Click Import
Your contacts will be imported into your Gmail account
Step 3
On your Nexus make sure you have connected your Gmail account
Go to contacts > Menu > Accounts
Select your Gmail account > Menu > Sync Now
Your new contacts will be imported - Any duplicates should be merged.

Did anyone flash to CM's version?
*
Yep..Using that and loving it..But am not using the latest patch..latest patch tends to FC the launcher, restarting it over and over again..

QUOTE(lek_e30 @ Jan 28 2010, 12:48 PM)
anyone here using G1 b4? i would like to know how the the battery life compare to G1..
*
Its slightly lesser than HTC Hero (When you say G1, state which model Hero or Dream). Probably because of the very bright screen and Live Wallpapers ONLY. The CPU doesn't hog the battery although being almost twice the speed of Hero.

QUOTE(syyang85 @ Jan 28 2010, 03:41 PM)
alright. talk about warrranty.
it states it has worldwide warranty.
but has anyone called up HTC Malaysia to confirm with this?
*
When someone say "worldwide warranty" it doesnt mean you can get a warranty in the middle of Uganda desert or something..lol..
Worldwide warranty means it will support any country that has its support..eg: Singapore phones can be serviced in HK or US..and vice versa..
But ONLY countries that has it already..Malaysia is not supported..You want to fix it, you have to take it to Singapore..

Shah. Some reviewers claim the apps must be stored on the internal memory only. Can you confirm this? If it's true then there is a limited number of apps we can keep in android phones ?

Needless. If you can store it on the sd card, chucking in a 32gig memory means you can fill the Phone with apps till it runs out of space. Now that's astonishing.

Eventhough you can open the N1's ordering form, but, if your delivery address is not in the 4 testing countries, you cannot order it anyway. I already did that on the FIRST or second day of the announcement. smile.gif

BTW, Adnroid apps are small, starting from sevaral kB to several MB only. In this case you may install aroud several hundreds of apps in the built-in storage. Also, the speed for displaying the apps mightl be slowed down too.

You can put the box in your laptop bag, I also bring 2 portable audio dac/amps in 1 box. No problem at the scanning. smile.gif... BTW, the scanning is for the security purposes and monitored by police, not kastam. if I am not wrong.
