QUOTE(shahz @ Jan 29 2010, 02:51 AM) Yep..Using that and loving it..But am not using the latest patch..latest patch tends to FC the launcher, restarting it over and over again.. Its slightly lesser than HTC Hero (When you say G1, state which model Hero or Dream). Probably because of the very bright screen and Live Wallpapers ONLY. The CPU doesn't hog the battery although being almost twice the speed of Hero. When someone say "worldwide warranty" it doesnt mean you can get a warranty in the middle of Uganda desert or something..lol.. Worldwide warranty means it will support any country that has its support..eg: Singapore phones can be serviced in HK or US..and vice versa.. But ONLY countries that has it already..Malaysia is not supported..You want to fix it, you have to take it to Singapore.. oh... i thought G1 was htc dream aka T-mobile G1... didnt know hero also bear G1 name... btw didnt know how hero batt life but dun see much complain, so it shud be sufficient... and nexus 1 is little bit lesser..huh.... its hard to determine as subject to individual usage... i assume that one day max use for calling, sms...moderate surfing shud sufficient ??

xavier : If I am not wrong, the battery is already being charged up to 50% of capacity. So I think you can use it straight from the box. Good luck. QUOTE(xavier7 @ Jan 29 2010, 11:29 AM) from what i heard, they have this machine scanning your bags. so yeah, its better the phone be put in the pocket of the person carrying it They did random body check and if they found you carrying 3-4 phones, reason for personal use is not too convincing also

For navigation, I am using the hacked GMap.I also got the navigation voice, I think. Warranty... at least I don't have to pay full amount if I want to repair it. Added on January 29, 2010, 6:42 pm dreamwar You may not find the N1 in Low Yat Plaza, but yoy can easily find it in lowyet.net This post has been edited by bahathir: Jan 29 2010, 06:45 PM

I couldn't do Bluetooth transfers N1>PC so yesterday I updated BT drivers on my laptop. It solved N1>PC but broke PC>N1 Good news is Bluetooth File Transfer app is now working for me I also tried FTP but I think I'm gonna stick with USB for large transfers for now. FTP itself is a breeze to setup with any of the FTP apps on the market and once a file gets going the speed is awesome, too. Problem is, it takes a while for each transfer and each file to begin. These gaps add up and it becomes a drag. Maybe the implementations are clunky right now? Added on January 30, 2010, 11:47 amBtw, AndFTP was pretty impressive but it's actually an FTP client (not a server, afaik) so you have to run an FTP server on your PC. I ran FileZilla server and the transfers went fast and smooth. This post has been edited by innards: Jan 30 2010, 11:47 AM

quick question, at the phone status it shows my mobile network signal strength. Mine is -101dBm and 6 asu. How does it works? Higher value = better signal?

Frankly, speaking is one of the best phone i ever own...the camera is so so but better than HD2, speaker is not that bad compared with HD2 and Samsung HD but a bit soft during in coming call. But the speed is much fast especially sms to someone...my HD2 spelling check is always screw up. After I hacked my rom for Samsung HD is also giving the same prob..cant sms fast bcos the words always screw up. Listening music with Nexus One is damn clear and nice with BT headset. But the screen is a bit small compared with HD2..hehehehe
