Why get a second battery. You have to remove the cover to replace the battery. Get this from Brando. I did. It works pefectly. Some more 1900mah. Reasonable shipping charges also.

Another solution is to flashed undervolted kernel to your phone. I tried that UV kernel and my phone last for 2 days with moderate usage like 1-2 hours of phonecall, gmail synced every 10 mins, a little bit of wifi here and there. The latest cm rom is slightly undervolted as well. you might wanna check it out.

chewlf, you're right, i'm using US proxy so I can see both. After reading a few inputs from google N1 forums, seems the right one to get is T-Mobile, but AT&T can also work here.
BTW: If it helps anyone, try this link: https://www.google.com/phone/choose?hl=en&gl=US&s7e= ... takes you directly to the second page, bypassing the IP check. Credit card from MY seems ok, but of course, delivery address limited to the chosen 5 countries.

(Try reload a few times if you get broken link, I think some of the servers serving that page aren't doing too well right now)

for my opinion ~ i dun like IS ZAGG~ i felt it is sticky after applied on my previous iPod Touch.
Will make your finger less smooth while dragging item or moving on the touch screen~
Someone recommend BodyGuardz (same product but diff bit diff in material~ not tat sticky) but i haven try on it~ (^^)
CHeers~

I'll go off topic and remind everyone what a wiki is. In general, Wiki is a collaborative effort. A Wiki will fail to achieve its purpose if there's only a single author. Might as well call it a blog. In short, should a wiki is setup, all of us should find some ways to contribute to it. If you feel there are errors or an entry is incomplete, edit it. If you feel the wiki is in need of certain articles and you have some knowledge about, start an entry. Dont worry about if your knowledge is inadequate or what you have written is not entirely accurate, others will come and rectify it.

Come on guys, we cant just rely on Shahz, we need to step up. We are Android users. Our culture is different from other closed-sourced platforms. We share, we contribute and we thrive.  thumbup.gif
*
Exactly. I believe most of you already know about the wiki initiative that we want to start. Just like what cleave said, wiki is a "community project" and we share our resources together. Thats actually why I was talking about wiki in the beginning, and started a new forum in LDC. Once we have a moving community, we can develop our wiki smile.gif Its very high in my to-do list already so I will be announcing it soon on LDC. If you are not yet in there, its a great time to join. We have plans coming up.

Did you guys here about our own Malaysian kernel coming soon? wink.gif undervolted is one of the features that I am trying to emphasis on our kernel.

I was using Epik last time.. the most noticable flaw is the rubber is not well cut and it feels kinda rubbery and the form is not right.. kinda tight.
the Logo at the back also is vry easily peeled off.

Now on Seisdo Surface II, all i can say its nice to the touch.. feels very solid and its light and dont add to the bulk. Money well spent I say.

Compatible with 3G on AT&T (U.S.) and Rogers Wireless (Canada)
Supports three 3G/UMTS bands (850/1900/2100 MHz) and four GSM radio frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
Compatible with 3G on T-Mobile (U.S.)
Supports three 3G/UMTS bands (900/AWS/2100 MHz) and four GSM radio frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
Sure? Pick the one for AT&T? THe only difference I see is :

AT&T Supports three 3G/UMTS bands (850/1900/2100 MHz)
T-Mobile Supports three 3G/UMTS bands (900/AWS/2100 MHz)
I thought original N1 for sale was for T-Mobile only, so that must be the one that you guys have.. this AT&T looks new..

Let me know soon, wanna order my N1 TODAY =D

Thanks guys!!

I'm going to get Nexus One soon too, so I called up Maxis and asked them. They recommend the AT&T one as they currently don't have AWS implemented/installed.

Would I be correct in assuming that the settings for the T-Mobile is on a slightly more advanced than the AT&T? I would prefer to get the T-Mobile one actually, and also as I believe initially Nexus One was offered in T-Mobile's version only. No one in Malaysia seems to have any problem with N1's sold before the 2 options are available right?

I'm still quite indecisive actually. The first time I called Maxis they recommended T-Mobile. The second time, a more thorough talk with the CSE, I got a recommendation for AT&T as it might encounter 3g issues such as browsing, connectivity and such.

Anyone with any thoughts on this? What about sellers here in the forum? What option do you go for?

Added on March 26, 2010, 5:12 amGuys~ i found a problem in the Message session ~

at the "To" part where we can direct enter the receiver name to retrieve the contact number from the contact list.. i cant retrieved some of my frens contact by entering the name at that part. So i though their contact are missing in my contact list.. but after i double check my contact list.. i found my fren's contact still in there.. why ya?

example:
if i am looking for a fren name :chong chong
at the message "To:" part.. i just need to enter "chong"
then all the fren with the "chong" as part of their name will be retrieved from the contact list right ? i failed to see my frens with "chong" or else in this part.. (or i misunderstand something in android because android's contact not working in this way?)

Weird, all Malaysian Carriers using 900Mhz though.
IMHO, go for T-Mobile version....
