just got back from kampung... when i heard the news about the iphone 4 will be launching anyday now from the email, i feel so glad....

wont having those wild guesses anymore....

I don't know why, I receive no email from them about it.

Of course WITHOUT contract!!! . Because i'm not the person who r always make a call, surf net, checking email, balabala....Nowadays many places provide the wifi services like "new" town, "mama"rich, your house and balabala... Why not we just use the wifi download the games,apps...is more faster than using "3G" services and lock you 1-2 years??

u see how late we get the black iphone4.. so i dont think malaysia will be the 1st country to get white iphone 4

Yeah. They sent me an email last two weeks ago about the micro sim thing. But not this time.

I received an email from Maxis too on the ip4. Anyway, it has been loooooooong over due. I believe other neighbouring countries are getting their ip4s so much sooner than us. Sometimes, I'm really sad that M'sia is always lacking behind.

Been waiting for ip4 since beginning of last month!

Don't think so...Maxis hasn't even launched the preorders yet.

yea couldnt be so fast.. the main point is to receive maxis email stating about the pre-order than maybe few days later we could get it!

Received it as well..but what does the definition ''can arrive day now'' mean? few days or weeks? o.O

any day means they can launch it in november because its still "any day"

Maxis is being such a tease!

But to their credit, the newest email on sync-ing and transferring/ backing up data is useful. Must remember that for iTunes we can only transfer 5 times our apps otherwise must buy all over again.

Im keen to get the i4 but this whole reinstalling can be quite tedious.

Nevertheless, am hoping the price will be reasonable- just like the i3GS when it was launched -it sure surprised many ppl.

Could u point me to the documentation that says an apps can be transfer 5 times, else will have to buy over again? Don't remember seeing that thought it is known that it can work up to five devices. Btw, I got the email as well.

i think you're wrong here. the limit is about how many computers u can authorize to use ur itunes account. meaning u can use ur itunes account to purchase/store apps up to 5 separate computers. nothing to do with transferring apps

also, when u've reached the 5 computer limit, u can reset it n start over

yeah. that is right, not the no. of times u can transfer cheers mate.

The waiting game is almost over. I'm all ready to get the new iphone! @.@ This is getting exciting..

Based on past experience on the previous iPhones.. how does the pre-order take place?

This will be my first iPhone so this will help me be prepared. Will the preorder be online or must go somewhere to line up la... etc.?

everybody is just so damn excited...mana tau delay lagi then all will be scolding maxis ..lol
anyway lets hope that maxis will not delay it...its still better to get the ip4 here rather than SG cause claiming warranty would be a pain
