hi there. if i upgrade to this uni combo... the Rm100 is only for internet? how bout phone rental and phone charges.. they will charge me differenly?

ps: i'm currently using the combo where internet +phone...

im using combo 60 ( streamyx+phone line), the package example 4MB is rm100, mean thats is the total of the bill or RM100 + phone line charges??????

RM100 = included phone line rental.

so its inculded phone line rental.. so phone charges would be in a seperate bill? so we gotta pay for what we use only?

think the phone line RM26 ( think so ) is included in the rm100, mean u have the unlimited internet access and if , let say if u use the phone line to make call , then of coz charges will be list in the bill, under phone call usage, right guys ??????
think the concept is same like the combo, they just change the package name only

why is on a few Universities or colleges are supported?

Yes, u are right...

But TMpoint in my near didn't terminate the account instead they directly upgrade from streamyx combo to streamyx unipack which is not a student name and tat is my frd dad.

that guys say, is ok, i help u to upgrade directly from the exist owner without termination. If u terminate and re-apply. then there is a period to wait. ( 30days ) and wait for 5days to apply the new streamyx again. and there is also a probability if the area no port for u... then u GG since u terminate 30days ago.


So we applied on Thursday and Today (waited <48hrs), TM contractor went to his hse and check SNR margin.

Is Pre-U like A-level or SAM eligible?

student year 3 and 4 cannot apply this package or not????

how they know r u year 3 or 4 ?
if they ask, then u say year2.

Some if not all TMpoint staffs asked for university offer letter, which indicates which year you enrolled.

For those who got their netbook, do you find HP service tag bottom of the machine? I owned HP notebook but my netbook doesn't come with service tag as my previous machine. Who is responsible for warranty claim? Anyone?

they said need the dean signature..... and when i ask about my streamyx, they said need to terminate first and make a new application....i dont want to take or not but still rm100 for 4mbps.... its a good bargain....

come on la.... i think they should make student price for streamyx....

CANNOT , becoz the application need the approval from the uni, so ur GF sure cannot apply. the oni way is to open a new phone line .

2. It cost more to maintain 2 numbers if I want to keep the old number alive

from the info i get from the TM is just the installation fees for the new phone line , cost around rm75deposit and rm10stamp duty, after that no charge as the line is oni for the streamyx usage(no call allowed), didnt mention anything about extra charges for old number .... anyone to clarify????
