Coles open on weekdays from 12am to 9pm, closes 3 hours for restocking/cleaning etc. This is true for weekdays only, weekends have a 9-5 schedule.

@Zeke, take the tram and head south. If u are taking the tram from Railway Station, it should be the 3rd stop. From Rundle Mall, 2nd stop. Will stop at Victoria Square. right in front of Hilton Hotel. Coles is just behind Hilton.

PS: walking isnt that far la  sweat.gif 10 minutes at most.

haha!! i can take the one at adelaide train station? hot ma... tongue.gif still i'd rather tram than walk. walkin to uniSA east is FAR though it's just a straight road. lol

The tram service in Adelaide is free within city. Another option, u can take the free bus service (99C) to China Town.

China Town just beside Central Market and Coles

Guys, this is the Studying in Australia thread, not the Kopitiam subforum to discuss about the different brands of milk.

While I appreciate the impact of the "milk and bread" wars, this is not the place for banal chit chat. I can acknowledge the odd tangential discussion to give a day-to-day perspective of living in Australia as a student, but in the interest of keeping this thread as clean as possible as so other people who do their research don't have to wade too much chaff of your musings.

Try to keep this place informative rather than a stream of your thoughts eh?

Good question.

International students with A levels is easier than International/Local or PR students that holds year 12 qualification. However, I can't guarantee which quota is larger, you'll have to ask the university personally.
*
Not to mention anything but to bring back an additional support for my statement today I came across with 2 Singaporeans in conversation while waiting for my turn for enrolment this early morning.

A: So... why you're here btw? Not going NUS?
B: Can't make it although I've appealed. Got a terrible result. Straight B's and a D How about you?
A: Also bad result.

Starting to have doubts on the effort I've exerted. Apparently, people with A-lvl results can get into Aussie universities easily while students like us going for Australian year 12 qualification have a rough time to be eligible to be in top universities today. Year 12 Aussie competition for top universities is stiff. To get into a certain top % in a particular course is tough whereas A-lvl students can get A's as long as they deserve it. If you're an A-lvl student and wishes to gain an entry into any of these universities in Australia, maybe except for Uni Melbourne etc, as long as you do decently in your exams, the doors are always open.

Don't blame me if I over-emphasize. It's an add on btw. laugh.gif

international students will always get in easier compared with locals, they want your money.........

it also depends on the course, b's and d's will not get you into critical courses, but will get you into everything else.....then again, having straight a's will get you considered, but not with a atar of 95.........

as for nus, places are severely limited, so entry cut offs are very high, much higher than oz unis........even melbourne........
