hi guys i was wondering can i use my uwafp to study in some uni in Melbourne?plan to study in melbourne instead of perth...im going to study either bachelor science or commerce...can anyone recommended some uni in melbourne?
*
can you get into melb unis using uwafp? Sure, it's recognized there. I bet you've studied uwafp in canning or tuart? The cut off points or requirement should be listed on the uni's website, so you can probably check it out. But um, isn't it a bit late to apply for uni's in melb? (eg:monash/ melb U) there should be a deadline or some sort right?

Installed pirated software?
Pirated software that have not installed yet?
External Harddisk?

I am worry about it as I am holding some pirated software with me like Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop which is useful for me.

Advice please?

Oh, um Haya can you update mine to UTAS pls? Think I'm still under Perth section. Thanks a bunch.

QUOTE(ostangel @ Feb 4 2010, 02:17 PM)
wow..guess I'll just leave the food then. heheh.

oh! i've heard of spacebag before..just like the vacuum bag. but i have no idea where to get it though..

and erm. I haven't even bought any jackets yet. Thought I'd buy it over there.
I'm afraid the jackets here aren't warm enough because the material is mostly cotton blend. And those with wool in it is crazy expensive! >_<

AND I thought I'd but a hair dryer there..not too expensive right?
*
Um, winter in oz is still ok, depending on where your location is. I'm bringing over a thick one and a not so thick jacket. =) Prob can go look for jackets in Kmart or Myers when there's a sale =)

spring and autumn, esp autumn FTW! those two seasons are the best for jogging =), unlike winter, which gets dark SO early and the super strong wind.

i will leave to aussie in two weeks to further study.. i received my travelers cheques (american express) today..

want to ask can we use my t.cheque to make debit card from local bank.. and which bank better
*
mm, think it depends on what bank is more accessible in your area. More common banks are like ANZ and Commonwealth. Where are you heading =) I'm on ANZ btw, and sticking to it ever since. =P

Depends on where you are. Most shops will not do cash outs, and many will place limits anywhere from $50 -$200. I can't say for Coles, but Woolworths QLD has a policy of maximum $500; anything more needs to be cleared by the supervisor (I never had such a amount requested through).

What member hihihehe was talking about was partial payment with 2 sources. You can pay with cash and the balance with EFTPOS, or (less commonly) pay a certain anmount with EFTPOS in addition to the cost. For example, if your purchase came to $12.30, and you decided to pay $15 with EFTPOS, $2.70 will be cashed out to you.

I personally think, while Australia's EFTPOS network ingrastructure is not as good as New Zealands, it is the best thing since cash.
*
I think EFTPOS is awesome =P *not sure how NZ system works though*. Well, some cashiers will ask you whether you want to cash out or not. And yeah, you don't need to bring that much cash on you, just bring your atm card =P

ah mate, BB laugh.gif  mate..here they in lurve with Ipad opss not. Iphone! Lol; seriously..all luv to hav a night with Iphone  laugh.gif
*
LOL IPAD! *that reminded me of a video about Ipad i saw in youtube =P super funny.* aaaanyways, yes, peps there are going gaga over iphone. =.= I have no idea why. I tried it, but don't like it =P Personally I don't really fancy touch screen phones.

Well, if you're calling back more often (using your handphone), get optus prepaid, international rates are cheaper. 3 is more of for local usage where you have heaps of friends using 3, and you can call them for free. =P So I'm sticking to optus prepaid ftm, cos i'm calling international more frequent. =) But plans are good. You get a free phone. =D *sadly they don't offer the phone I want =(*

blah, i'm heading over in less than a weeks time, no cny for me =( boohoo.
