it will be quite a bottleneck, coz as mentioned in previous posts, even with gt210 also got some bottleneck.

it'll work, but you will not be able to have the best performance from the 6670 when you play games, coz it's limited by the processor.

blink.gif with 6670 in PCI-E? The card will be in serious bottleneck with P4 processor. Not really recommended.

recently my PC keep BSOD for no reason sad.gif

checking event viewer never provide any information

my current RAM is

2 sticks, each 1GB Qimonda & Kingston DDR 400

when I run PRIME95 with both sticks, it runs into errors in a few minutes, sometimes a few hours.

when I run PRIME95 on just 1 stick, it runs no errors for about 8-12 hours smile.gif This is with the QIMONDA stick.

Technically I can say either the DIMM slot is busted or the KINGSTON 1GB is busted.

Few questions :

Can I get warranty for this Kingston?
What other softwares can test hardware component failures other than PRIME95, which I use to previously benchmark

currently no overclocking involved and PC specs are per below in signature

help?

Finally I'm letting go my retired rig after more than 5 years. It had been serving me very good. The P4 will always going strong despite the technology is advancing. biggrin.gif

OT: If anyone is interested on the parts I'm selling, do drop me an offer. The thread is as below:-

Yeah, this board is superb. But I had it lying in the box for almost more than 8 months. Since I no longer using it, might as well sell it to someone that will fully utilize this motherboard.

It is a Northwood
Prescott comes with 1MB L2 cache, Northwood only 512KB

usually MEMORY failure is due to which more often?

1. Memory stick
2. Memory slot on motherboard

Slot A and Slot B
Memory A and Memory B

I am currently just using Slot A, with Memory A
NO PROBLEMS, NO BSOD

perhaps I should use Slot A, memory B (to see if Memory B is still working biggrin.gif) If i get problems and bluescreens, quite obvious that Memory B is faulty
