Don't think so, never had that with the iPhone as well so shouldn't be the case here.Hardware Apple iPad Discussion Thread | V1, Everything about iPad

QUOTE(berniew @ May 13 2010, 10:05 AM) DAMM nice huh...i curi beli one so i dare not spend too much $$$ on i pad because lately I got my I Phone 3GS. Tell u l fallen in love with Apple products. Now thinking to get Apple Notebook..Wish I can get 64 GB one Maybe Santa will give me end of this yr during when Christmas time Added on May 14, 2010, 1:09 am QUOTE(MX510 @ May 13 2010, 06:06 PM) From my research mostly all Huawei products works with multi sim but to play safe before u buy kindly test it before paid. That MiFi is good but use non standard battery for charging as the 3G will consume a lot of energy . yeah i agree...as lately i can see digi is the only one fellow dare to fight with Maxis. Thanks to hve Digi then Maxis will be Performs better or else they Think they are King. Don't talk abt Celcom, Celcom is always say they are always upgrading their server or so on....never say sorry one. At least Digi and Maxis do.So far the best i read that Digi will come out for micro sim with RM 58 unlimited data . Fair usage is 3GB but if u use more they will throttled the speed but no additional charge for exceeding their limit. Recent Digi post in facebook they are crazy to bring the microsim for #iPad. Maybe Digi will sell it first before Maxis who knows? This post has been edited by sfotsy: May 14 2010, 01:09 AM |

QUOTE(bearbrick @ May 13 2010, 06:52 PM) Ya, posting this reply using my iPad/huawei/multisim combo. Just for info, the huawei unit was one I bought from Danny himself. So the firmware of the unit must be compatible with Maxis's multisim cards. On to something completely different. Thought other forummers might be interested to know about a company called Callpod Callpod and their product, Chargepod Chargepod. It's great for charging up to 6 devices (although with an iPad connected, I can only manage 3 devices before it runs out of juice). At the moment they have a special close out deal which might be ripe for a group buy. Anyways, check it out. I've had very good backup/support from this company. Bought my 32GB iPad from DannyGeni. Thanks man, appreciate it
It's totally great and worth the price imo, even though when I was buying the screen protector, some guys were bashing it; 'what can it do? Just a glorified netbook!' 'it's like 4 iphones stuck together!' 'expensive piece of ----' Great job guys, although next time I'd appreciate it if you created your own zingers rather than some you stole from the comments pages at Gizmodo and oh by the way, I have an iPad and you don't. Also a question, what are the best apps (free is better |

QUOTE(Dozz @ May 14 2010, 10:48 AM) Anyone using SplashID with iPad? This app got high rating. jUst not sure which one to purchase... SplashID or 1Password. I got 1Password because they had an offer for the iPhone version previously, and since it is an universal app all the more merrier for me. Both perform the same basic task but looks like 1Password has more ratings (*but SplashId has higher ratings) and comments as it has been around longer. But due to the universal nature of the app, 1Password Pro is more expensive than Splashid that's for sure. |

ArcReader is also a good cbr reader, and it supports the iTunes USB file transfer function.

Oh, and about the adaptor.
I know that we bought ours from US, that uses 120v plugs there. And I just have to check, is there any problems if we use the ipad adaptors without having to use a 240>120v transformer? Still remember when my PSX exploded with smoke coming out from the case. :| |

QUOTE(echothreealpha @ May 14 2010, 11:52 AM) Oh, and about the adaptor. No need, the adapter is rated 120-240 so it's ok. Also if you have any other apple iPod USB chargers, you can remove the US style adapter head and swap it for a UK style 3 pin plug that came with your other USB charger.I know that we bought ours from US, that uses 120v plugs there. And I just have to check, is there any problems if we use the ipad adaptors without having to use a 240>120v |
