I think the 8th core will be useless unless the application (games, etc) can actually take advantage of the 8th core.

IINM Djinn posted at Xbox thread that Japanese premium now can get around RM 900 only. But I don't know whether the step-down transformer is included or not.

And I already know why my roommate suddenly considering to buy Xbox 360. He played his lecturer's Xbox 360, and loves it. But now, he said he want to get a new PC instead, but he keep pushing me to buy Xbox 360 quickly.

MMU Cyberjaya. The one who played the lecturer's Xbox 360 wasn't me, but my roommate. He's majoring in "Software Engineering & Game Design". So it's not unusual for his lecturers to have gaming consoles and let the students to play with them.

That's the fun thing about having friend like that...you just play the game infront of them. They will come to the dark side eventually, it's not like xb360 is an empty shell.
What xb360 has now is the substance, the content, the experience.

Recently i didn't game much due to some personal stuff, and...guess what, most of the game shown on my gamertag history are played by my friend (the so-called pro-sony peepz)

I think la I know why some gamer do not like Xbox 360. The only reason i can think is there is no Modded Version. HAhahahahah. As if PS3 will have the modded version dalam masa terdekat.

I think the 360's main pull is Live, and Malaysians cannot really see how great Live is. I'm sure most 360 owners here bought their machines with Live in mind. I know for me, 50% of the reason was because of Live, the other 50% was DOA4

ya, playing with other people instead of by yourself really opens up to new gaming experience. for PC gamers this has long been done but it can get quite technical for normal user.

To me...Xbox Live feel more...human, more alive compare to PC online gaming.

Yah, every time I talk about Xbox 360 / Live they just say PS2 can do it to (Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, SOCOM) and it's not fun to them because they have to buy ori game / get unmoded console / pay online fees.

For me, the main reason of getting 360 is DOA4. About Xbox Live, I'm attracted to downloadable contents.

Every time I talk about Xbox 360 / Live to my friends, they just don't care if they got no Live connectivity as long as they can play *ahem* games.

it does not matter. live adds extra features. game can still be played. btw, all next-gen consoles noe implement online. PS3, wii and xbox 360. all are online enhanced.
