PLC-pet lovers center...it's a petshop has many brances in KL

well i wouldn't say higher price...some pure breed rabbit will fetch high price too coz of the features of the rabbits like some show quality that may be potential winner in competitions..but they will be great home pets too..who wouldn't be proud to have a Handsome/pretty bunny at home..if your talking about local rabbits u can see this case in dogs also(mongrels and pure breed pedigree dogs)..see the price difference

chincilla is considered an exotic pet and is less common in malaysia so it's more expensive..chincilla in overseas is not sold so expensive like here in m'sia.but to import one is pricey..same goes to imported bunnies...imported parents is different case ya not considered as imported rabbit is it's born here

I must also add that Chinchilla is a totally different species from Rabbit although they share certain characteristics. The keyword here is RODENT (guinea pig/chinchilla) vs LAGOMORPHA (rabbit). They are from 2 different classes of animals.

Go through wikipedia.org to know their classing in the animal kingdom and you will understand more.

To add on, chinchilla only give birth to 1-2 babies 1 time, and take about 4 months for the pregnancy, usually 1 baby. Chinchilla can only produce 1 time per year or 2 max, but rabbit produce faster in shorter time and have more babies.

Dear all,

I got a problem with my rabbit. Recently she like to sniff on my leg from bottom to top, and slowly she like wanted to climb on me. So i'll indirectly scratch by her. Any rabbit did like that to her owner?? She like to sniff my feet and bit me...but not a strong bite....Is it she is hyperactive??? She like to chase to me when i'm walking around.....

Hi Tarepanda,

I don't know if that's normal or not but my rabbit also like that. I think that's the way he want to manja-manja (in a rough way) and seek attention. Usually he did that when I was busy in front the computer and ignoring him. Or he's hungry and want more pallets and dont want to finish his hay...

Having a rabbit is like taking care of a manja small kid.. only they dont draw on your wall. hehehe tongue.gif

Hi guys! I'm going to get a hay tunnel for Keiko soon so I'd like to ask if anyone knows where can I purchase them (online or real life is fine). I'm based on Serdang, Cheras, generally the Selangor areas.

Thanks!  rclxms.gif

Your rabbit sounds pretty normal to me. The more active ones tends to be rather curious, and having your rabbit being able to sniff you or try to climb onto you can be taken as a good sign as it shows that he or she has gotten used to you and is not afraid of you anymore.

As for the biting of your toe, well, let's just say that the sniff and bite is their way of testing if something can be eaten or not. In fact, rabbits like to chew on a lot of things, especially cables. Thank God I've not lost anything expensive like a HDMI or a Fiber Channel cable to my rabbits yet.

Hey guys! Wondering whether anyone could help me. Currently i have 5 bunnies, 3 females and 2 males. I separately keep my bunnies. (females aside and males the other side). But the problem is, i have this one female bunny that attacks the other 2 females and only can get along with the males. Hence i thought of having her neutered and putting her with males. She also does not know how to take care of her baby bunnies when she had them awhile ago. Can some one please help tell me where can i get my female bunny neutered?

Thanks!
