A rabbit spayed under a good vet can recover in just 3 days. 8 to 9 months is a very good time for spaying. I am very comfortable sending rabbits for spay at:

Dr. Lynette & Dr. Loh
HILLPARK VETERINARY MEDICAL CENTRE
18 & 20 Jalan Anggerik Eria AT 31/AT, Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam
Tel: 03 51228386

Prices for spay is RM250++ not sure prices increased though.

Hi all. I'm thinking of spaying my rabbit. just wonder how much does it cost and how long is the recovery period of a 8-9months rabbit? By the way, i'm in puchong.

Any experience vet to intro?

Thanks in advance..

Added on January 17, 2010, 11:54 pmEli, what sort of probiotics did the vet gave to Hector? If it is a paste, what i suggest u do is turn HEctor around ala Trance and swipe on his mouth OR you can put some on his paws for him to lick it up....

Added on January 18, 2010, 12:00 ambasically in Holland lops, Blue = Grey and Grey = Blue. It is what we call a diluted black.

judging on the quality of photo, my guess is a blue otter.

Hi guys! I'm going to get a hay tunnel for Keiko soon so I'd like to ask if anyone knows where can I purchase them (online or real life is fine). I'm based on Serdang, Cheras, generally the Selangor areas.

Thanks! rclxms.gif

@Schaan

well i do not consider that as a holland lop dearie...u don't simply call any lop ear holland lop-same as u cant call any long coat cats persian cats..but yours is a lop ear rabbit for sure..175??well i wouldn't pay so much for it...my rabbit i paid RM60 leh...which also cause i fell in love with her just got to get it...it's not the money laa...is what u are paying for...
how old is your bunny??2-3 months from the judge of the picture..give her plenty of hay and lots of love

Thanks for the info yueyi smile.gif, but I just happen to stumble upon Beh & Yo website earlier and notice they got hay tunnel for sale. Just hope that they still have stock for it now.
Also, Keiko doesn't really like the hay I bought from Pets Wonderland @ Mid Valley. Will definitely try buying the next batch from PLC tongue.gif

well not many barnds offer good quality hay..some smells not so nice..some colour brownish, and some even too green due to colouring...depends on what brand u bought..oxbow pretty pricy for me so i op for chubby pet garden's summo can deliver to my house if i not free to go buy..hehehe...most of all my rabbit loves it..

ermmm is it 1st time introducing hay to ur bunny..u can give bit alfafa to mix with timothy hay to encourage ur bunny to eat...then later can serve whole timothy and give alfafa as treats only

You can add move variety, like alfalfa cube, alfalfa treat tube and anything that is alfalfa that give your bunny more choises. Put in 10% of timothy in will be a great value. You can make tunnel you self too, how ever it wont last very long la, cause it is make from fresh hay, and they will eat it. biggrin.gif
