Hi, just bought my Satellite P745-1011X in Jan'12. Currently i'm using the Media Recovery Creator through USB to create a recovery disc.

I wanna ask is the recovery disc is created from the hidden partition?

The Satellite P745 and P755 multimedia notebooks have it...
The Portege Z830 ultrabook has it as well~

And of course the Qosmio X770/775 desktop replacements have it ~

Bro TJ does Toshiba M645 come with hdmi slot? Thinking of getting an hdmi cable so that i can watch my malay drama collection on my lcd tv
*
I thought you own a M645? laugh.gif
you should know better than me what haha~
the spec sheet says that it has it, just look for a rectangular port with the words "HDMI" on it nod.gif
If you are planning on buying a cable, can ask in garage sales because a lot of Dell Vostro units come with free HDMI cable o~ Can probably get for lower price~

Thanks for your response.

So will it never be here? sad.gif

What the specs of NB520? Will it be stable for playing videos?

The price and freebies?

Thank you.

Thanks for your sincere comment.. smile.gif

But i still doubt about the video playing. Is is real? I have some movies to be tested.

Last time I tested some of them using the neighboring netbook, Asus if Im not mistaken, it can play the video without hassle.

Do you sell this netbook NB520? How many RAM?

Thank you.

Ooops by the way, since you do agree that NB550D is great, do u have any idea on how can I own it? cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Last time I desperately want to buy Sony Cybershot HX9V which is not going to be sold in Malaysia as confirmed by the sales rep. End up I have to buy it from Singapore through Sony Malaysia and get no case, no card, no whatsoever, just the camera body for the same market price!! vmad.gif

Here's the source for limitation in video playing for the Atom + Intel GMA3150 configuration (spec may differ abit but the end results would be more or less similar):

Check my siggy brows.gif you can refer to devour if you want, I think he is selling Toshiba products as well... upgrading RAM shouldn't be too much of a problem as well~

I guess the best way is to get your hands on the NB550D is to import, in which you won't be able/ or have to spend alot of money if you want international warranty coverage...

Or you could just go ahead with other non-Toshiba netbooks/ subnotebooks with similar/ better specs to the NB550D (Toshiba, your loss laugh.gif)

thanks again for your response..

yeah, that's the exactly same source that I 1st encountered the NB550D since I was aiming at the NB520 initially and badly want to buy it.. laugh.gif

ermmm.. other brand? as the review said toshiba harman-kardon speaker put all the laptops to the shame isnt it? so i dont see any better choice rather than the Toshiba NB550D. Even this article says it all...

Toshiba NB550D review - By far the best netbook we've seen in a long time and very easy to recommend

The NB550D is the best only if you are comparing speakers (against others of its class) laugh.gif

Also, you could easily get another netbook of similar specs and a pair of external speakers to beat it:lol:

Means Toshiba Malaysia sells high end x770 here only. Anyway regarding your question of x775, you know what throttle in gaming means? U fire up a game and it loads and runs smoothly... then it lags very much for no reason, fan firing at full rpm... then maybe another minute its smooth again but it lags again and repeat.

Other than this throttling problem and warranty problem, i think the x775 is a very good laptop for that price.

Throttling and warranty alone would have been enough to be dealbreakers hmm.gif

i think this either of one the issue already can stop a ppl to stop thinking buying this.... sweat.gif
but i hear the x775 ady gt a solve way which was totally dun update the GPU driver and just use the stock one...then will no occur this matter...just scare in future days some games need to update just can play...then it will become a big problem slowly.... rclxub.gif
