I bought Z830 2 months ago and I am quite concern on how to extend the battery life.
Since this model's battery could not be taken out, I wonder which way is the best to save battery?

1) Plug in charger all the time when using.

2) Unplug charger when operating. Recharge only when not using the laptop.

Or any other advice?

I've recommended quite a few Satellite L745 nod.gif
Well, they are rather nice laptops, cheap, yet decent nod.gif
The speakers are soft and the surface/screen is glossy...
Build is solid, touchpad is good, and damn the keyboard is ergonomic and good to type on thumbup.gif

Last week I posted on their Facebook asking if the NB520 is still available or not and they asked me to email pcsales@teledynamics.com.my and ask instead. I've done that but so far no reply. They also never mentioned anything about the new NB550 which they say is coming in mid March...

Do you know where can I find it? I've asked every local notebook seller I can find and they all say its out of stock. Most of the price I see is actually RM999. Might consider buying from overseas if theres none left here.

I checked with Harvey Norman and they say they'll have it early next month. I'm planning to get one.

Hi all..

I'm still hoping for the awesome Toshiba netbook N550D sad.gif

user posted image

But now.. I'm befuddled between that netbook and this tablet.. REGZA Tablet AT1S0

user posted image

The reason why I'm hoping so much for the netbook coz I want everything that I can do with the PC, I want it as well to be available with the netbook/tablet.

For example, I want all videos that I've downloaded (can be viewed so smoothly via my PC) also can be watched through the netbook/tablet.

Also I want to use them as a picture browser/digital album.

Anyone?

Thanks.

Don't judge GPU performance by VRAM only, its just a marketing gimmick nod.gif
Which Asus are you comparing to? A43sm? A43Sv?

Welcome back laugh.gif
Told you Toshiba Malaysia was just simple crapping about bringing one in tongue.gif

How about going for this one instead?
12.5"
Samsung 3 series [NP350U2B-A01MY/A02MY/A03MY], i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1899

Or wait for more powerful Ivy Bridge processor-powered notebooks, they should be around around the 3rd quarter ~

ermmm... it's confirmed that toshiba will not bring this to malaysia.. sad.gif

thanks for your recommendation of that Samsung NP350U2.. it's great but it's already out of my budget.. sad.gif

but i will still consider since one shop got a great promotion for it.. RM1699 only... whistling.gif

but now i'm quite impressed with this ASUS Eee PC X101CH.. smile.gif
