I am guessing you are asking for parallel import set, because im not sure if the actual model sell here by Toshiba.

Thing is, the set most probably is US set. Which have international warranty, applicable IF buy in one of the many states of US. But somebody take it and sell it here, which actually turn out you wont have any warranty at all for the set because you did not buy from authorize dealer in US.
Yes you can register Toshiba online, but it doesnt mean Toshiba will service your laptop.

So you are actually buying a new laptop with zero warranty (the most you get is default manufacturing warranty, but you have to claim it in Toshiba USA). That the risk you gonna take for paying much lesser.

However there are things around it. Maybe the seller have way around the system. OR when you go to warranty in Toshiba Malaysia, PRAY they did not ask for proof of purchase (dont give them the receipt you have!) because they want to verify its bought in US and also date of purchase.

The spec is too awesome, with price about less 4k as lowyat seller promote it. But i dont know about how the warranty works and is really good if someone can give clarification about that.

Hmm...i also just bought this P755 last week. So far the problem i facing is, once playing "Need For Speed The Run" for roughly 10 -20 mins, the game will suddenly hang try for many many times already, every time also same thing happen after playing 10-20 mins.... but if playing others game like PES2012, CS...etc wont have such problem. Anyone face this problem also?? izzit NFS The Run are running heavy GPU and caused it hang once too hot?!!

Just the game hang, so I forced to use End Task to close the game.

Btw, P755 is using Nvidia GT540M, I wondering who else also have the same problem as mine?

hi guys, i just bought the satellite P745-1011X on 14 Jan'12.
I already got the 1 year international warranty but not yet for the 2nd & 3rd year local warranty. Can i know when it will be done?

yea.. the speaker really powerful.. anyway, just called teledynamics, they said in mid Feb'12 will get it done for the local warranty since they all compiling all other purchaser details

is it worth getting the Qosmio X775-3DV80? i plan to get 1.... i know there the laptop got problem with the GPU throttling because of the bios version not stable but toshiba just release the lastest bios which is 1.60 which fix the problem but some ppl said the problem not 100% fixed but better than the previous bios.

i went to PC IMAGE shop just now and ask about the Qosmio X775-3DV80. they said this model not found in malaysian market. lol.

so for Qosmio X775-3DV80 users here. any review and comments? pls help me.. im a toshiba user currenly using Toshiba satellite L510-S4318B. Toshiba is a good windows laptop very long lasting used it more than 2 years already.

Toshiba is never good with their drivers, better avoid... especially if the problem is known and universal
