Hey guys, just bought a Satellite P755 with the 2GB graphic card on it. Noticing however that it does not allow me to play certain games like dota 2. Each time I launch a game, it shuts down by itself. I've update the driver to the latest one already. I heard it switches the graphic card automatically but it doesnt seem to be happening. Any advice?

Never mind.. the main problem was the battery. I was using direct power not the battery...

What do you mean? Nvidia Optimus is not really related to the batteries...
If using direct power there's more the reason to work properly right?

hey guys, x775 q7384 user reporting in here. agreed with warranty and throttling problem. but, there is a solution. i have updated my bios to 1.6 released this year, and nvidia latest driver. I can now enjoy my gaming session without a problem. it is worth it guys, not a fan boy of x775 but for that price u can never get a better deal. =)

Hi bro have you seen the 3D version? Not that we need 3D screen... But i tell ya the 120Hz and full HD resolution looks damn nice^^ makes your 1600-900 looks ugly. No offence. I used to own both but sold both(due to no warranty) and waiting for my M18 instead.

im sure the 3d version screen is vibrant and make the colors pop. Im hoping toshiba will release their own display driver for both 3d and non 3d x775 soon, it has been quite some time tho

first time bought toshiba brand for notebook today. toshiba satellite p755, core i7, nvidia ge force 2GB, 8GB ram, 650 sata HD @ rm 3 399 and got free logitech wireless mouse.

yesterday i detected 1 dead pixel on my l755 lcd... tekan2 on the area still won't go...

need more than 6 dead pixels within certain area (eg. 4x4pixels ) before they allow you to change the lcd screen .. changed mine before .. dead pixels also ..

does the extended warranty covers the lcd or just 1 year..?

yes it covers lcd screen iinm .. extended local right ?
