I'm still wondering why Toshiba wanted to offer 32bit OS in all their laptops sold here (even Qosmios, which is stupid) laugh.gif
Apart from hearing ppl saying that Autocad doesn't work on 64-bit OS (not sure whether its true or not), I've never encountered any problems with other programs on 64-bit W7, even very very old programs used in my research sweat.gif

Autocad? If I'm not mistaken it depends on whether you're working on 2D or 3D stuffs haha~
2D stuffs rely more on RAM + CPU whereas 3D ones rely more on GPU...
The GT525m is not bad a GPU, so should be fine~ Just try not to expect too much from it can already laugh.gif

Yalo, I have to agree, almost everything they like to do on their own laugh.gif
Perhaps that's why the often come up with innovative stuffs first hmm.gif

I use ZoneAlarm on Windows HP 64-bit, which keeps hanging during Windows startup, rendering me unable to access the net. Have to restart a couple of times before it would work. ANother lappie running W7HP 32-bit works fine. So I think it's great Toshiba offers this 32-bit option

Added on July 19, 2011, 9:56 amHow is the battery life of L645/745? Good? 2-3 hours can (for normal surfing and word processing)?

Just curious, what is ZoneAlarm? laugh.gif
Well, they can offer 32-bit systems, but they shouldn't promote 4GB RAM upgrades since the RAM won't even be used anyway... I deemed that as conning already laugh.gif

Battery life should be longer with Eco Utility on and disabled background programs/bloatwares, 4 hours should be possible hmm.gif

my L645 i5. when i shut down, shut down properly. when i start again, it won't start. i press power button again, it shows repair program mode (can't remember much, panic attack). it appears that the laptop went to find out what wrong with the system.

after few minutes, repair mode finish, but still cannot on. third time i press power button, luckily my lappy kick back to life. not sure what happen there...
