guys, just bought satellite L645, the limited edition version. the blue colour one.

i do have question. the os is w7 home premium, but 32 bit, i want to change to 64 bit. the guy said that i just need to format the laptop. the windows is preinstalled in the disk right? or i need to do back up first?

really noob question, but i do hope u guys can help. cheers.

what's the price range for toshiba's model for the new processor?

before i bought mine few days back, i'm looking for the new processor for the 14inch. sadly only 15inch were available. acer model got for 14inch, but i did not choose to buy it.

guys, where toupdate my driver for graphic card. or do i need to do that? when installing games, keep prompting not supported the direct x

directX did not come along with the laptop? i mean that directX did not preinstalledalong with the graphic cards drivers?

my gc specs said supported directX11. if that so, directX11 was preinstalled?

went to ati website. there are 2 options. first is catalyst packages - 1.1mb. second is individual package - 62mb.

which one should i download?

done it. but directX still have to download separately right?

light me up on directX.if i install directX11, it will support the earlier version except for directX9. so,i have to install both directX11 and directX9 right

if i installed directX 9, can i uninstall it back?

guys, how to go on safe mode on toshiba laptop? press F8 when you want to boot aite?

my L645 i5. when i shut down, shut down properly. when i start again, it won't start. i press power button again, it shows repair program mode (can't remember much, panic attack). it appears that the laptop went to find out what wrong with the system.

after few minutes, repair mode finish, but still cannot on. third time i press power button, luckily my lappy kick back to life. not sure what happen there...
