OK what, although the spec is not as nice as others, but you get the premium design, harman speaker and finger print reader right?

How long have you bought it so far? If it's newly bought try to go Teledynamics and request them one to one exchange.

i got my 3 years warranty updated after many phone calls to teledynamics 03-55687399 (ask for pc warranty department). they will ask u to fax them (03-5568 7991/7919) a copy of your receipt. hopefully the receipt will indicate the 3 years warranty. good luck.

Added on January 11, 2010, 10:47 ami had win 7 failure (it could not load) last weekend and i had to do the tedious work of system recovery to vista and then win 7 drivers download and win 7 upgrade. i called toshiba to ask about any possible shortcut to reinstall win 7 without reinstalling vista. i was told that some third party softwares can do the job but they are not allowed to recommemd the softwares. any experience here with win 7 installation? what software should i download (without needing to reinstall vista and the win 7 drivers and free if possible)?

thanks.

Do you mind to explain more from your statement? Mine also same, if I need to recover back to Windows 7 Home Premium, the 1st thing I need to recover back to Windows Vista, then perform the Windows 7 Upgrade.

Hi, I just bought L510-S4314.. Hehe

When I watch movie, I could see fine vertical lines, it's like the picture of the movie is not smooth. Seems like all the shows I watch is like that, but when I watch it in my gf's dell laptop it's smooth and nice.

Does it occurs to you guys?

Oh, it reminds me of my previous HP laptop, the problem starts like this, while watching movie it has some vertical lines like what you've mentioned, then after few days the problem turn into serious where my screen has a lot of vertical or even horizontal lines occurs when the laptop boot into Windows, then end up my laptop's GPU spoil, then send for repair, but it was a 2 years old laptop.

Yup, only movie...

I think there are very fine lines in desktop and gaming but have to look very near to notice it, but for movie can notice it easily.
