but i would suggest you to get Toshiba Satellite L645-1169XB/1170XR/1171XW which is selling at RM2299 with free upgrade to 4GB RAM and total 3 years warranty
is more worth it to get Toshiba Satellite L645-1169XB/1170XR/1171XW which save you RM250 and extra 1 year warranty.
Intel Core i5-560M is not worth extra RM250 compare to Intel Core i5-480M

I recently bought Portege R700 that comes with Windows 7 Home Premium and Free Office 2010 Home & Student. I downloaded Windows Live Mail and installed. Everything was OK, but it kept freezing/crashing when I tried to import from Outlook Express. For info, my OE inbox files are very big but I separate them into files less that 1GB each. I uninstall Live Mail and re-install another 3 times, also same thing.

Now is this consider Toshiba notebook problem, so contact Toshiba, or Microsoft problem, contact Microsoft?

I have searched the Net for solutions and tried various methods, but just couldn't resolve the problem.

so busy now.. i want to ask this prob long time ago .im using portege 2xxx. can't remember

i have a problem.i think its the settings

when i open gamespot.com and watch review.

there a video below,when i watch it,its blur and mostly with only white picture.then got some pixelated . -- in other words the video can't be watch but i can hear a sound

i try with my hp and other toshiba netbook.it works fine.
only on this laptop it doesn't work well.how to solve it ?

btw i can't watch video only from gamespot.com
other video like youtube have no problem

it hangs or freeze sometimes when watching movies and the HDD indicator went off but the other indicators stays on.

1) can anyone give suggestion?
2)how to check the qosmio model series or number?

1.Are you watching via USB 2.0 port, HD resolution movies?

If you right click the flash, settings, go to left-most tab, disable the hardware acceleration. Test it again...

All bro, just brought L645-1169XB, facing problem while play plants vs zombie, when switch to full screen mode, both side will come out black border, i did some re-search in internet, many ppl teach to adjust the catalyst control centrel scaling option, but the scalings option in my laptop can't adjusted(fixed to full screen), any bro here know how to adjust?

Change your screen resolution to 1024x768, then open the CCC, go to the scaling option, change to FullScreen, then apply and close the CCC, change back your resolution to normal.
