You mean the 3D with glasses or no glasses ?
*
I was referring to the non-3D glasses laptop, it'll probably cause eye pain (something like this? http://www.pcworld.com/article/216832/nogl...ally_fast.html) haha laugh.gif

As for laptops with 3D glasses, its not very convenient if there's more than 1 viewer sweat.gif

+1, U36Jc is heavier but slightly more powerful.. But it doesn't have an optical drive though...

The Vostro V130 is one cheap (in terms of price), sleek-looking laptop~
But the battery is non-removable and has rather small capacity cry.gif
Really pity...

You're right! I just remembered that the U36Jc comes with 8-cell battery drool.gif
Which reminds me, the review on U36Jc was just out today, hehe
Comparison between the U36Jc and Portege R700 can be found here: http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/as...0Battery%20Test

U36Jc's battery lasts 23 minutes longer than that of the R700 laugh.gif

Some of the new Toshiba laptops with SB (CES 2011):

http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=6010

Rather disappointing... same old laptops, different hardwares...
I just hope these aren't all the new laptops Toshiba is offering sweat.gif

Iinm there are NB5xx series powered by AMD Fusion APUs as well nod.gif But not sure whether they'll be sold here onot...
Hmm, but the Qosmio is still rather expensive for ppl here haha sweat.gif The only upgrade for the X505 is the SB processor right? I think no chance in the GPU.... but I think the SB upgrade is already enough to boost the performance significantly thumbup.gif

Well, the Macbook Air would be a great choice but its out of skyati's budget (referring to 13 inch MBA)... and they don't have backlit keyboards as well... But they sure look nice drool.gif

Hihi grats on your purchase thumbup.gif
I hope your Toshiba will serve you well~
Next time need to be more careful and check everything before going home o... especially during IT fairs where there's lot of ppl pushing around sweat.gif
Anyway, you're going to need to convert to 64-bit OS (if not already) to fully utilize all the 4GB RAM.
Mind stating the specs of the model? Perhaps you could write a simple review on the laptop so as to enlighten those who are interested? notworthy.gif

Err? Are you referring to the palm rest on the right hand side of the keyboard? Or the keyboard itself?
Flexes do occur from laptop to laptop, its normal. My old Qosmio F60 flexes at the center of the keyboard as well nod.gif Just be careful not to applied too big a pressure on the weak spots~

Anyway, got extend warranty? Or its covered in the promotion? hmm.gif

Dedicated video memory means the GPU got its own RAM
Shared video memory is the GPU borrow the RAM from the system as the GPU don't have its own RAM..
