But i think i dont have problem on doing that with the nokia i m using since i can switch to gsm or umts only plus can switch off the wifi scanning. No such function in desire? Any current desire user can answer that? I still prefer to have the data plan, just dun need it to on all the time to save the battery life...
(i m a maxis user)

just turn off ur 3G to 2G..and turn off ur wifi, etc

The most easiest way is....
buy a portable charger 4 d desire then everything is fine:-)

biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Thats what people dont want to do to carry portable charger or charger always. That is the reason why people keep asking on how to prolong the battery usage~~

Hahaha yeah true. If spend money to get a portable charger, might as well just get another battery. Of course you'll need to switch off in between battery swapping.

In my opinion, the micro USB cable is the most important thing. Just keep it in your bag. When circumstances call for it, just unleash the cable and plug into any USB ports. Assuming you're in an office environment lar.

In US, Nexus one or Milestone beat the sales in 1 week compared to iPhone.. There was an article about it.. In US, android is very popular and it seems UK is getting more popular too...
Even in Australia, people are interested but limited choices of android phones here

yeah , actually Desire is almost 98% similar to the nexus one ,
nexus one less 64mb of RAM, Desire less one microphone .
actually 512mb RAM is very sufficient , I have running 7 8 apps in background but I still have 140mb of RAM left . If you can wait , then get Nexus . I bought Desire because of the design only.. lol
*
but lots of forum said that nexus one is better than desire due to software n ROM updates. n nexus one seems a lots of rom to flash

Thats what I thought too. One thing that prevented me from going Nexus One is their oversensitive touch buttons. I had the Milestone and my palm has always activated the buttons by accident.
