Battery life?
Both fare pretty decent if you can conserve maximum battery usage..
I could squeeze 1day n half frm 3GS and 1 day on the Desire..
Mild texting, some music, Gps for 5 min, and several 5 min calls..
That's if you turn off 3G, Wifi and dim the screen to maximum..

i guess htc should produce a bigger battery capacity for desire that can be bought separately in the store so it can solve the battery problem.
i hope they will release n sell it soon.

both Nexus and Desire using the same touchscreen panel , ClearPad2000 , only limited to 2 fingers with less responsive IF compare to Incredible . Incredible using CLearPAd3000 touchscreen panel which allow 9++ multitouch with high accuracy of responsive . Think la , basically when you need 2 fingers of multitouch ? when you choosing apps , making call , writing text (using swype) , normally 1 finger can done that =.= . Unless you want to play multiplayer game with 4 fingers ++ , with opponent on the same phone . Pinch and zoom is very smooth for expanding homescreen or picture , web site browsing. I dont see any other cases that needed multitouch (2 fingers) that much , normally 1 finger can do all the task. lol , think of how often you use more than 2 multi-touch 1st and whether it will slow down your productivity, no need comparing which phone has the best touch screen panel while you are not needed it. To me , Desire and Nexus are 95% smooth like Iphone , that 5% you wont notice with naked eye.

Yes, it is a hardware limitation. HTC use a much better touch sensor for their latest model ( HTC Incredible, HTC Evo 4G, etc ). Unfortunately those are CDMA phone, hopefully a gsm version with the improved touch sensor would be coming soon too.

HD2 is scrolling is faster because Desire need time to make font to fit in screen . check the HD2 vs Iphone 3GS vs Desire... Desire is fastest in browsing internet , HD2 is the slowest . lol

i got no comment on web browsing because each device have its own browser like Safari for iPhone.
with a fast snapdragon n more ram, of coz it will b helping for web browsing..same like pc
try 3rd party browser like Opera in iPhone..it was faster than stock Safari..
so i feel comparing the browser is not rly a big issue...

I believe one of the reason iPhone conserver more battery usage than Android is due to it doesn't support multitasking/background process. Google Latitude is an example where one location is updated. That's why iPhone doesn't have Latitude.

Dont forget the desire has a 1Ghz processor as opposed to the slower iphone 3gs. That definetely is the key point on the weaker battery life.

Oh...
it suppose to link automatically if there are some details in your phone are related to the facebook...
For example,
Friend A in Phone, just phone number --- Friend A in FB(facebook) don't have
then it won't link cause nothing similar except name and many people can have the same names...

2nd example,
Friend B in phone got details like email, number, address(either one) --- Friend B in FB also got
then it'll automatically link it..

So in my contacts, only a few got link because of similar details, others not
This means you need to link them yourselves one by one.. That's what i did and Walah~, your friend is link to facebook...
Hope that helps
