Germany may miss Mueller for sure..and two doutbfull starter..khedira and cacau..so Spain have the advantages..but never underestimate Die Mannschaft teamplay...and counter attack...
Well, both the German and Spain teams are strong to be in the last four. The Germans are flexible and fast since the average age of teh Germans are 25 yo.
It will be interesting to see how will Spain react to the German onslaughts. But only thing is German will be without Muller, Cacau & Khendira. It is also interesting to see what kind of tactical change will Del bosque make, because he never seem to change things around when it was not working for the Spanish team. One thing I know of is that the Spain has been riding on their luck till now with David Villa scored from the the rest of the players' patient passes.
As for Uruguay and Holland, I think Holland can make it to the Final.
coincidentally there is another animal with "psychic" ability in Singapore has also predicted Spain as the winner and it predicted a Spain-Uruguay final showdown

i am going to bet the farm on spain victory, if this did not happen i will join angry argentine supporter to storm the aquarium and BBQ that damn octopus.
while the fuhrer still believe germany will crush spain.
a touching story involving Forlan, his sister and Maradona.
QUOTE
CAPE TOWN, South Africa – Diego Maradona’s World Cup ended in disappointment on Saturday, but the Argentina coach has had an unlikely hand in the tournament’s biggest Cinderella story.
Uruguay striker Diego Forlan has been one of the stars of this World Cup, with three goals in the South American team’s surprising charge into the semifinal, where it meets the Netherlands on Tuesday. Yet, Forlan’s success story would not have been possible without Maradona, who has had a huge impact on his life, both within soccer and outside of it.
When Forlan’s sister Alejandra was paralyzed in a car accident that killed her boyfriend in 1991, Maradona stepped in to assist with fundraising efforts that eased the financial plight of the family, which had seen its comfortable middle-class existence ripped apart by medical bills of more than $250,000.
His sister’s plight was what convinced Forlan, then 12 years old, to dedicate himself to a career in soccer instead of tennis, determined to make enough money to make his sister’s life as comfortable as possible.
“The first thing he told me when I was lying in the hospital was that he would be a famous football player and make money to get me the best doctors in the world,” said Alejandra, who now heads a charity organized by her brother named in her honor.
Forlan, though, was still years away from hitting the big time. Maradona, a friend of Forlan’s father, Pablo, a former Uruguay international, stepped in to donate an undisclosed amount and provide priceless publicity.
Yet the route to stardom and, possibly, World Cup champion may have stalled if not for another piece of goodwill from Maradona.
As Forlan began to emerge as a rising star in South America, banging in goals for Argentinean club Independiente, Maradona alerted his network of contacts in Europe to the raw ability of the youngster.
Within months, English Premier League giant Manchester United swooped in with a lucrative transfer, ending the family’s financial difficulties once and for all.
While Forlan’s switch to Manchester United struggled in the early stages, it provided a learning curve that would give him the platform to move on to greater success in Spain, where he is now established with Atletico Madrid and known as one of the world’s most dangerous forwards.
Even now, at the age of 31, his sister’s plight continues to be a motivating factor.
Alejandra Forlan, five years older than her brother, was returning home from a party with her boyfriend in September 1991 when their car spun off a treacherous coastal road and smashed into a palm tree.
Days later, the entire Forlan family congregated around a hospital bed to be told she would be permanently paralyzed.
“She was an inspiration to me then and she has been ever since,” Diego Forlan said. “She is a special person with a special spirit. She helps to spur me on and I represent her on the field.”
Alejandra, who will likely spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair, has become a spokesperson for the disabled community in South America.
“It gives me such joy to see him perform,” Alejandra said. “I know how hard he worked to get to this point and he deserves every success in the world. When he runs, he is doing it for me too.”
another connection between the two diego, Forlan's WAG Zaira Nara is the sister of Maradona ex Wanda Nara

Mani the parakeet was wrong on the Netherlands-Uruguay game. Germany still got chance
lousy linesman. van Persie should have been ruled offside for the 2nd goal. Even though he didn't touch the ball, he did try to touch it thus interfered the flow
having said that, i don't think uruguay deserved to be in the final.

How Van Bommel is able to escape with so many things in this WC is nothing short of amazing. He's like the ultimate professional in professional fouling . And it's so ironic that he got booked yesterday for not another one of his late challenges but for prematurely celebrating . A real @ss of a player.

how many yellow card offense he have make this game, it is four or five? he also an great actor, suffering a terrible added time "injury" when he tackle Fernandez
if he can do all this thing and not get yellow card for it, what he need to do to be sent off? tackling the linesman from behind in front of the ref?

I think the whole Holland team should be nominated for the best playacting team in 2010 World Cup if Oscar has such award.
with italian out so early, they have dont have other really strong competitor in this category.
it is so annoying that this group of player which are so so talented would prefer to throw themself on the group everytime there is contact rather than use their skill to create something magical. anyone will find it hard to believe that a group of people in their physical peak would have fall down so easily from the slightest contact. the challenge on dutch player that cause any real pain are that kick right to the face of De Zeeuw.
i was hoping half way through the match the uruguay will return to the dirty team of 80s and 90s and kick the crap out of the dutch
now there is some funny photoshop photo of robben post dive
1) germany player missed a penalty kick in regulation time (uli hoeness missed it against poland) 2) italy eliminated in group stage 3) netherlands defeated brazil 4) the reigning euro champion, west germany won in the final (west germany were the euro 1972 champion) 5) their opponent in final: the netherlands
the facts no. 1,2,3 and 4 happened for the last time in 1974.
suddenly in world cup 2010,
1) germany player missed a penalty kick in regulation time (lukas podolski missed it against serbia) 2) italy eliminated in group stage 3) netherlands defeated brazil
now the reigning euro champion, spain go to the final, and their opponent in final, no other than..... the netherlands
Netherland will never win World Cup if they still playacting like this, maybe he can cheat the linesman, referee, but right now got hundreds of HD camera shooting, I think the fianal game's referee should play back the video that involved Netherland and see how they cheat, then in the final, the referee knows how to judge them.
