Not too sure. I'd guess Uru to wear black pants and socks, with Ger opting for the white pants and socks.Discussion 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

would germany and uruguay both stop defending and go all out attack to win the golden boot for forlan, klose and muller?
but most likely i think forlan and klose may not even play because of the injury they have and everyone will be desperate to avoid getting injured before the club season start. This post has been edited by robertngo: Jul 9 2010, 03:56 PM |

Muller and Suarez looks to boost their tally by starting, while both Klose and Forlan should be out due to injuries. Klose needs 1 to tie with Ronaldo, 2 to beat him outright.
Sneidjer and Villa will probably win the Golden Boot though, with 5 goals each thus far. |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Jul 8 2010, 07:03 PM) I didn't bet on Holland making it this far either because I don't think they have a strong defense. Then again all you have to do to compensate is to score more then your opponent eh? Spain keeps the ball so well. Its hard to find any rhythm, consistency or stick to what the coach planned in the dressing room when you dont get a feel of the ball for substantial period of time. Germany found it so hard to get their rhythm against Spain..I'm on the other side of the fence. I've got some money riding on Spain not because they were ranked no.1 at the time but because they play some really neat football and I enjoy watching them. I can't say I'm particularly fond of the Dutch although Dirk Kuyt is in the side. I'm not exactly a fan of the likes of Arjen Robben, Van Persie or Van Bommel. Along with Sneijder, I can't wait to see them go up against Xavi, Iniesta, Alonso and Pedro. I think that Spain have the stronger defense and hence, expect them to win. Whatever happens, I hope it will be a great final. a funny thing....whatever, we will hear this phrase coming from commentator's mouth in Liverpool's match next season And Kuyt..a world cup winner or And Reina...a world cup winner or maybe Babel, or maybe Torres... Giovani dos Santos (Mexico) source: here best player has to be xavi for me. But then again i'm bias for this type of player, sort of like scholes. If not xavi then either sneijder (2) or Scweinsteiger (3) |
