are you for real???
so the bookies bought Argentina and that's why they got spanked 4-0?

So Melo took few millions last night? or was it Juan? or Kaka? or the keeper?

BTW, you're a Chelsea fan? How much did Mu, Liverpool and Arsenal players collected to let chelsea win the title? doh.gif doh.gif

i didnt argue about brasil's red card....melo deserved it for sure.....but what i meant was....i HATE BOOKIES decision on how WORLD CUP is going on.....remember france 98?? brasil played well throughout the tournament...but play like SHIT in FINALE....
*
which bookie in the world would have enough money to buy out the entire brazilian team to give up their world cup hope??

how much you would need to pay for these player that are making millions every year to lose on purpose?

Added on July 4, 2010, 12:01 amwhat a disaster for argentina, they really are in disarray in this match, the defense are bad and more suprising is the attacking side are also bad, they attack move are all so slow and allow german to defend in number all the time vmad.gif

BTW the story is that it was the advertisers and sponsors that pressured an ill Ronaldo to play in the finals of France '98, not the bookies.

Melo is making 2.6 million euro a year in juventus, i wonder how much you need to pay to have this guy give up an once in a life time chance for world cup. 50 million euro at least i would think. hmm.gif

now that messi have under perform, if anyone said he is paid by the bookie, i would ask how much you need to pay messi that are making 33 million euro last year, 300 millions euro maybe hmm.gif

if these fellas "knew" that football is a bookie controlled game, then why watch it? and after each match came here and whine, complain about how "fake" is the game...

Should've been 1-0 to Paraguay..
I'm quite surprised to see Paraguay not sitting deep wasting the time passing the ball along the back four..lol
I'm hoping for another shock result here biggrin.gif

a different paraguay show up this game, the best game of their campaign they are aggressive in chasing the ball not allowing spain to play with their tempo, looking at this you wonder why does portugal with their much more talented team play so defensively last week, they really should have taken the game to spain like paraguay.

They blame bookies because they are in denial of the loss. It is as simply as that.

villa very very deadly indeed.

and for those not believing bookie's involvement, too bad. not to say every player is involved, but SOME match officials and SOME players get 'incentives' for manipulating a game. especially less known leagues in the world.

Because Paraguay and Portugal both have different goals in this world cup. If any team chase the ball against Spanish tiki taka, they will get exhausted to death. Teams that want to win this world cup need to look at the bigger picture.

Portugal look like they are no even trying, letting spain freely pass the ball around and not passing the to the ronaldo their best attacking player that could be a match winner. when the paraguay player press the spanish to unsettle them their passing become less accurate and allow more chance to intercept the ball and counter attack.
