if these fellas "knew" that football is a bookie controlled game, then why watch it? and after each match came here and whine, complain about how "fake" is the game...

previously i DO have the same thought as u guys said; BUT most of my friends...keep saying this SHIT: bookies.....tht what makes up my mind to say...in WORLD CUP mostly could be due to bookies/match fixing.....premier leagues are less with this issue....

a different paraguay show up this game, the best game of their campaign they are aggressive in chasing the ball not allowing spain to play with their tempo, looking at this you wonder why does portugal with their much more talented team play so defensively last week, they really should have taken the game to spain like paraguay.

They blame bookies because they are in denial of the loss. It is as simply as that.

paraguay so unlucky for losing this game but they really did step up on their last game after often so negative in the previous match

villa very very deadly indeed.

and for those not believing bookie's involvement, too bad. not to say every player is involved, but SOME match officials and SOME players get 'incentives' for manipulating a game. especially less known leagues in the world.

Because Paraguay and Portugal both have different goals in this world cup. If any team chase the ball against Spanish tiki taka, they will get exhausted to death. Teams that want to win this world cup need to look at the bigger picture.

Portugal look like they are no even trying, letting spain freely pass the ball around and not passing the to the ronaldo their best attacking player that could be a match winner. when the paraguay player press the spanish to unsettle them their passing become less accurate and allow more chance to intercept the ball and counter attack.

yes, LESSER known leagues in the world....
