I think long and hard wanting to get Alienware M17x and i dont mind spending 12k for a super gaming laptop with Nvidia 280 GTX SLI but one thing i cant accept is that Alienware M17x customize CPU Chip up to Core 2 Duo Extreme.. Cant they let me choose other chip like i7 or i7 Extreme or better than Core 2 Duo???
Truely, even the Dell Alienware promotion is still on but i cant take a Duo core Alienware .... This post has been edited by Miri-Sarawak: Mar 19 2010, 11:12 PM |

QUOTE(Miri-Sarawak @ Mar 20 2010, 08:51 PM) i7 mobo cannot read Nvidia GTX280M, thus ATi is chosen to replace GTX280M.and i can't see any logical reason why to say NO to ATi HD4870CF. may i know your reason? QUOTE(riku2replica @ Mar 21 2010, 04:48 PM) those specs really outdated. i mean, really.if you go back 5 years ago, then those specs is owning. |

Core i7 920XM is only better in certain application calculation, in gaming, QX9300 still better than Core i7 920XM. However, QX9300 is overclockable to 3.06, even 3.33Ghz if u know how to tweak it |
